Two islands are unique in their own way, Trinidad and Tobago is very well developed as a small island nation. Mpst people are very well educated.. Tobago is very laid back and natural beauty as I was born there and then migrated to Trinidad then to USA. Food is great, carnival is worldwide inventor of steel pan which is only instrument invented in 21st century,.then you have oil natural gas and asphalt pitch lake which is one of.the only natural phenomenon in the world, massive ports and two international airports,.brand new fast ferries for inter Island travel, T&T is almost like first world island if u ever visited you'll be impressed and it could of been way further ahead and its heading there anyway...The south is very industrious ie: San Fernando and Marabella very developed cities in the south with oil refineries...In the west you have West Morings with houses that rivals Hollywood in the USA,.and don't forget down the islands which you can only access thru boat and watercraft,.its a whole other world there with huge mansions on the water, trini also makes international boats, world famous Maracas Beach for renowned bake and shark, its too much to list bcuz I didn't even touch on Arima to Sangre Grande in the east to central which is represented by Chaguanas and Couva and all those other areas which is the fastest developing places in T&T with vibrant business centers and residential living...All in All Trinidad 🇹🇹 and Tobago is unique and very rich in culture race and diversity truly amazing, one has to visit to see.for themselves bcuz you cannot rely on someone to tell u,.you have to go to really enjoy this wonderful amazing experience no lie ❤, I love Jamaica.
On the part of 'lime', Dorraine had mentioned that Jamaicans are also outgoing. That should only be applied to entertainment/hospitality related activities, and not in comparison to Trinidad. However, since COVID, Jamaican's have not been out lately, but only for work in their new economic regime. Jamaicans like to be more confined to their space, are more insecure, and the women enjoy being indoors a lot. And Jamaicans are not the best of well doers these days and are not welling to do much for their surroundings, hence the criticisms it often gets from Trinidad, and despite Jamaicans being the most friendly.
In other words, Trinidad is better overall. The part about Jamaica's developments shouldn't be any higher than palm trees is god awful. That's one of the reasons why Jamaica has an economic development problem. Jamaicans are slowly realizing that they are being left behind.
Whatever makes you feel better… 😂 All yall talk about is wealth and money . What does that ever prove? The most richest people in the world are not always the best. We don’t need wealth to be a good country unlike yall .
Hi I'm Franklyn Reid from D A
My dad is definitely my superstar. The greatest dad of ALL!!!
Big up grandma
That story was very touching. I hope my grandchildren will remember me as fondly as you have remembered yours. I am sure she is proud of you. Being a grandmother myself i can identify with what she was going through. I am teaching my grandchildren how to prepare as soon as hurricane season starts. I just can't believe they had school open with a hurricane barreling down on you.
@@Rlight96able back in 1988, news did not travel as fast. So when the bulletin went out to close schools, it didn't get to the rural areas as quickly. So by the time the news came the morning of the hurricane, we were already on our way to school. Keep in mind that the last time Jamaica had a hurricane. before Gilbert, I think it was 1951... Grandma was indeed proud of me....once you are great to your grand kids, they will remember you with fond memories.
Alright country girl u good I didn’t see Gilbert 😂
@@jeffblake-ug1ch oh really? You were off the island?
Biblical breakdown of how Jab Jab is demonic: Jab Jab literally means DEVIL DEVIL 🤦🏽♀️ It reenacts the brutal and inhumane treatment that the slaves endured on the plantation from their colonial masters. Derived from west African culture where the majority of slaves were exported. West African is known for its witchcraft. Brujeria (Spanish translation of witchcraft). Santeria (the worship of saints). The Yoruba people who are HEAVILY involved in witchcraft all come from west Africa. Voodoo aka witchcraft originates in west Africa. Where the majority of slaves were exported. The bull horns, the merci people, a nomadic tribe participate in donga stick fighting, the men DRINK BLOOD FROM A COW (demonic) which they believe gives them strength. (Which means they do not believe that their strength is derived from the Holy Spirit). Jeremiah 3:7-11 Because the Kingdom of Judah had seen the results of Israel's idolatry-had witnessed the catastrophe of her fall and mass deportation, but had refused to repent-God judges that "backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah" (verse 11). God, through a number of prophets, warns Judah not to follow Israel's course. For example, Hosea, using harlotry as an analogy for idolatry, pleads, "Though you, Israel, play the harlot, let not Judah offend" (Hosea 4:15). With a few exceptions, notably Hezekiah and Josiah, the kings of Judah were more corrupt than their counterparts in the north. Israel set the pace into idolatry, and Judah enthusiastically followed. "Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also stumbles with them" (Hosea 5:5). Jeremiah 3:11-12 11: And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. 12: Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saiththe LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. The children of Israel backslid against God by committing spiritual adultery: worshipping other Gods. Dragging coffins: Anubis- the ancient God of death (idolatry: Anubis cannot be found in biblical scripture and therefore is a demon. The worship of Anubis is direct disrespect toward the Almighty God. We are to worship God almighty and him alone. God said have no other Gods before me) Scripture: Exodus 20:3-5 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 1 Samuel 15:23 - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, He hath also rejected thee from being king. the serpent: satan disguised himself as a serpent in the garden of Eden to deceive Adam and Eve. Yet they think the serpent represents enlightenment which is another trick of the devil, the same trick he used to deceive mankind in the beginning. Scripture Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not fitting Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 3:1-5 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Children of God are NOT to celebrate such things. Turn from your wicked ways and REPENT!
I'm Jamaican and I'm not at all connected to the slackness/badman lyrics found in the dancehall genre.
I remember this! I often wonder where he is now.

Would the GENESIS of Stick-fighting be martial arts as well?
Yes

Mainstream Orthodox Christianity classifies Revivalism as being cults.
We have to love each other
Totally so
Are Revivalists still observing a White Jesus though? I have so many questions about this. I love this video. So informative! I am personally happy to learn about it & to know it is still alive & well. This has sent me down a rabbit hole & I’ve also now learned about Myal. What a lovely tapestry of a culture we have. I want to see more of our pride & practices lift up Africa again 🙌🏾
Thank you!!
Am from trinidad & Tobago, never been to JA but I have alot of jamaican friends here,an I can tell you there are the most down to earth ,honest an hard working ppl 💯love both countries ❤️
Trini and jam are good
Why people like to used Jamaica to get recognition for their country. Please, please Jamaica is not to be compare or compete with any country in the Caribbean. Jamaica is not worried about the the Caribbean countries, we are busy influencing the world.
Stop the rival ting
Both islands are brilliant, Trinidad created steel ban and calypso, Jamaica,Ska and Reggae
Why black people always riffing with each other's, is our sins against God.but one day Jesus will gather us back as one flock. 👏blessings to all African people in the Caribbean.
What is this ? Jamaica & trinidad have no violent rivalry never very miss leading to the world we dont have fights with islands in the Caribbean it is one love one family one link

No. Even if an usher is there, persons could still fall over them... especially in a blackout....electrical cords lying around must always be securely taped to the floor which enables people move freely and independently without accidents
Go and watch my video on safety in the Theatre. I explained it in detail
