It's called insecurity, why people who claim to be world famous and culture so known and get 3 to 4 million tourists a year take time to go onto vlogs of other lesser known islands to throw shade and talk greasy about their food and culture???
The so called rivalry has always been there, my grandfather told me during world war 2 when all the Caribbean islands where put together in a regiment to fight for the crown 👑 in Europe. The Trinidad and jamaican had a rivalry in cooking, boxing, cards,dominoes,football chasing women in southern Italy 🇮🇹 etc etc. Some jamaicans didn't like taking orders from trinis with higher rank. The white Superiors Officers was sometimes amused and fed up with it.
Yes it has and it is going no where... Countries just have to accept each other as they are with their strengths and weaknesses. Our identity will always cause the rivalry to remain
