Brilliant work. I want to build one similar.

I just bought the bronco and after two charges the damn thing won’t power the car anymore. The charger stays steady green but when I plug into the receiver , the receiver comes on red, the. Green upon turning on my remote, wheels align , then it powers off. So frustrating.

Thanks for the bumper idea. My approach was to moved the whole thing inside the body. I drilled away the headlights from the body and attached the bumper to the chassis to be able to open the body without disconnecting the lights. It just required a bit of slightly bent aluminum to move the lights a bit more forward.

Great video, thanks. I currently have stock gears but have low speed ones to fit. Still debating if i want to swap them out as i enjoy trail running as much as crawling. Not sure if low gears will make it too slow though. Regarding your defender rolling. I put 10mm wheel extenders on mine. Reduced the amount of rollovers i had considerably 👍

I think the Method wheels look awesome, plus the heavy brass ring is fantastic.

take a mild rototool whisk to the insides of the rings, itll buy ya jusnuff space to ease a possible struggle w/thicker rubber tyres.

My experience with this car so far... Batteries are cheap so bought a couple extras Charging is very quick 1 battery typically lasts around 1hr on rough terrain

use a 1mm drill bit(screws are 1.3mm hex), harbor freight sells a kit with 3 in them

I had trouble with getting it together, returned an got better rims plus my lug will tighten up without hit the other screws,instead of a 4 pc.wheel ,I got a 3pc. By DJCRAWLER,there real nice wheels easy to put together

you might of removed 1 gram by taking plugs off but you also added about that in solder.. just saying

Nice job , I put that emax servo in my trx4m , it works great and fits the stock servo mount with just a little bit of grinding

All i did was shave my fenders and got bigger tires and it's a night and day difference in how it performes.

Just recently bought one and me and my boy love it.

I have two new trx4m The batteries colapsed after The first loading i order than two more replacing batteries, and after The first loading theycolapsed also. Now i dont have any batteries to drive my rc cars. These are The worst batteries i ve ever used. Shame on you Traxxas!

Theire are new adapters made now by a few different people where you can run other type batteries in them now. I’m gonna order a adapter that will let you use any 2s lipo with balance port.

They have videos on how to make a adaptor cable on TH-cam, I did it for my other Traxxas cars and will do it on this too, just need a 3 wire balance cable

Yeah dude, the battery charger SUUUUUCKS!! It doesn't let you know that the battery is charging nor does it let you know that it's done charging, like...how the hell are you suppose to know this shit?! 🤦🏼‍♂️ Yeah man, hopefully they come out with a better charger for this battery!
