I've had mine for almost 2 years and I love it, it's my most worn watch. The reason why I was drawn to the brand was because they had a a 36mm watch. Most watches today are in the 40mm range if not more. Personally I like smaller watches because they work with my smaller wrist and I think they look more classy.

Think the Kuoe is my favorite in the line up. Jealous you got to visit the shop. I didn't find out about them until after I got back home from my Japan trip.

I stopped by as you seem to have curated your collection, whereas so many other SotC videos are too big - rampant consumerism with zero discipline. It was the Chronomaster that caught my eye as it's such a beautifully finished piece. However, I was surprised to hear you label it as a dress watch as it is a GADA/sports watch. It can do dress duties, but it is not an outright dress watch.

I love it.. from where I'm from, casio only sells the 107. The one that didn't have the fish logo. It doesn't feels right without the fish

The Scotch-Brite red dial makes me think I'm looking at an electron microscope view of a red blood cell, or blood vessel.

Sell everything except the Kuoe, Omega, red Citizen and Rolex and get something mid-sporty in black and you’re set for life.

The grandfather watch is so fine tuned, the leather looks genuine and clean compared to the ali express

So a cotton ball probably isnt the best thing to use because of how much it absorbs of the polywatch solution. A cloth with less absorption would alliw the solution to sit between the crystal and the cloth longer and therefor have more time for it to polish the glass before its all 'gone'.

Your reasons for selling this beautiful watch are lame. The dial is called White Roman.

Their showroom is usually packed and the salespeople are indeed very professional. All of them are into watches in general and they will explain every function of the watch when you buy. It’s really a cool experience - something that luxury watch retailers actually should take a page off of. I got an old smith back in Dec 2024 when I visited. Nothing but compliments. They also threw in an extra strap for free for all of the customers!

6:20 the lugs dip below the case back which is what you want. Not sure why you are claiming they are pretty flat.

My favorite Omega watch! That blue scallop wave dial is so beautiful against the chrome bezel. Because it’s quartz it makes a perfect grab and go and I love the fact it’s got the jumping hour hand function like a GMT movement. In many ways this can be a one and done as it checks so many boxes. Congrats on acquiring it and enjoy! 🙌

Wrist size ?

Acccuracy wise answer about GS : I had 2 GS watches with the 5-pointed star which means that they can have a plus/minus deviation per year of five seconds. But fact is that GS over delivers because they both had +1,5 seconds per year. And I had them maybe 10 days per year on my wrist .....

I like this kind of watch collection. When we can appreciate good watches without having to compete with luxury. It's more relatable than following the luxury watch collection. I like something realistic and something I can relate to.

Giugiaro, in english would be "jew-jar-oh"" designed a few Seiko chronos in that line, including the "Ripley". The one you have it's just one variation. I kept looking for one in Japan, but couldn't find it. The originals are ridiculously priced on the secondary market, so i was hoping to get one of the re-issues from a few years back. No luck yet.
