  • This Citizen 7 Eagle Automatic (ref 4-r02149) features the "Datejust" look with a fluted bezel, stick hands and indices, and a jubilee-style bracelet. Not only that, it beats the Seiko 5 "Datejust" by offering handwinding and a lower price.

Citizen eagle 7 was very popular in 80s/90s,I'm in UK and have 2 I bought around 1994 plus 1 I got in Spain a few years earlier.quality is about the same as Seiko 5 but you do have the winding function.not sure about the numbering but Japanese autos were orient 3,Seiko 5,citizen 7,Ricoh 9,always thought they might have agreed to the numbers being two apart.

The citizen looks pretty cool. I have a Cadisen i got for $70 in 38mm. It has a miyota movement and looks pretty good for the price. Also no need to worry about service since they're new and readily available. Although something about vintage pieces is always so tempting. Cheers!

@@bossmodus5020What are you, a psychic? Mistakes get made, like people dropping their timepieces, getting them banged up hard, or changing the date in the wrong hours (resulting in losing some function after something in the movement breaks), or getting the watch into contact with water when the crown is pulled out.
