They're incredibly underrated watches! I have a textured green one that, because of the crystal, looks like mother-of-pearl in direct sunlight. My day rotates partly and then "fixes" itself throughout the day lol. After 50 years, I think the worst part of these watches is having to be careful with the crystal when you're wearing it.

Very snazzy piece. Def need to grab a similar one at some point for the collection. Really dig so many of the decision decisions: the crystal, the dial color, the funky applied indices, etc. I might've missed it, but color me curious, how's it running? Have you been able to time it out?

Agreed, and replacement crystals will only get harder and harder to find.
I have a green one, lovely. You forgot to mention they are hacking, and run at 8 beats. Also a jewelled mainbarrel is a nice touch.

I think Seiko is really the only big brand to use them.
