5 Mistakes You're Making With Gestational Diabetes
I took 600 mg of ibuprofen multiple times in week 4/5 thinking I was getting my period. Now I am freaking out.
It’s a scam to get more insurance money out of you you’re not diabetic at all !
Thank you for the informative videos you provided on Trisomy 18. One topic I would like to explore in more detail is early screening/testing ie NIPT and CVS and the possibility of confined placental mosaicism that can only be truly ruled out with amniocentesis, since NIPT and CVS only sample placental cells. I think some parents don’t fully understand the difference and there can be confusion on this topic.
Wow!! What an amazing story.
Thank you for addressing such an essential topic. The way you explained the effects of high blood sugar on the baby and the steps to manage it during pregnancy is incredibly helpful. A must-watch for anyone managing diabetes while pregnant
What a beautiful story.
What brands are best for pre gestational ??

Just found out today that my granddaughter had this. Came here to learn more so I could offer support to my daughter and son in law and my grandchildren. Thank you for sharing your incredible story. It’s encouraging and entirely lovely.
My daughter is trisomy 18 almost 2 yes old. Full heart repair surgery and pacemaker put in. U can do full intervention. It's not a death sentence.
Docter i am tipe 1daibetic for 14years now with uncontroled sugar levels i drops and get up to 20
I appreciate you and honor every minute you had with your daughter, Hannah. I have watched a couple of similar videos, trying to understand and grasp the severity of your journey and the challenges you faced, heavily laced with love!, of course!!! But I am confused about the definitions of all those abbreviations you used. To you, these letters and random words were just such a normal part of your life, but to me (and perhaps others?) I have no idea what you are describing, such as CPAP, ("double" CPAP ? or did you say "bubble" - ? Note - I know what a CPAP machine is but I thought it was only for sleep apnea. Also -- I think you said, "energy tube" ? Also, I heard what sounds like "pulsocks" and "g button." Now, I don't want to intrude, but some understanding of what was involved in Hannah's care would be helpful. Thanks, and many blessings and hugs to you. Thank you for sharing.
Let’s deny reality of biological sex male and female
When I was a child people who had a Down Syndrome baby were told by the doctors to put them in an institution and forget they had them. They didn't go to school and weren't traained in the same way the parents would. They were looked at as burdens to the community. Thank goodness times have changed and we can now see the many beautiful qualities children with Down Syndrome have.
Am really grateful and thankful for what Dr Omole has done for me and my family.I Was having Herpes for good two years with no solution, the diseases almost took my life and because I was unable to work and I was also losing lots of money for medication, but one faithful day when I went online, I met lots of testimonies about this great man Dr Omole

I have to say this sonographer nailed it - she said all the things that needed to be explained to a patient! Great job!
My friend had a live birth trisomy 18 birth this weekend. This video has helped my heart. ❤
I have watched them all. I love that God’s love pulled all of their strength together and they trusted in Him. I am 34 weeks pregnant and have quite an odd story concerning T18. We got the screening just for early gender purposes and just as this story, the report said much more. I received it on my birthday in December of last year. We then were introduced to the MFM world and all the many tests, blood draws, and scans involved. At our 16 week ultrasound, I will never forget this doctor’s name…Jesse Marquis came in and performed our very detailed ultrasound and ended the procedure by telling my husband and I both that there has been a corrected result and there he sees no signs of Trisomy 18. He literally said these words. I was still on my back in ultrasound mode but my husband jumped up to thank the Lord for the both of us. Our 22week check up hit, and they noticed the bowels were outside of the body. This brought on the suggestion to get an amnio done. We did the amnio in March of this year I believe and the results of that read T18. We were totally confused because we had the results from our 16 week scan. Every question you can think of at this point came up and our hearts were exhausted with this rollercoaster of emotions. How were we back to T18? What happened to the corrected results the dr gave us at 16wks? This is our first year in a new state as well and we were far from the usual medical approach that the state of Ohio offers….we now have made our home in Northern Virginia and dealing with this as well. Crying happened, confusion happened, questions came up constantly…until I finally decided to invite God. I had pushed every one out and chose not to pray for months. I just didnt know what to say to Him. In the midst of that time, we experienced bleeding and was told I was miscarrying and it didn’t happen…we were told that she wouldn’t make it past the 2nd trimester and she has. I am now 34 weeks and even though I was told I have extra amnio fluid…our approach is still Gods way and planning to go full term with her (Kennedy). We have been to two MFM entities and are now hoping to receive a consultation from D.C.s Childrens National Hospital. Every kind of testing has been done. The cardiologist says he sees no reason why I cannot deliver vaginally. My first two children, just like this video were full term and vaginally delivered with no complications. In spite of all the anatomy scans and fetal echos…earlier on, there was mention of a fetal MRI to be done and when I brought it up just this past week, the main doctor said that she sees no need for one. This is also the same dr that said amnio fluid (mine is currently at 35.4) can be drained…I brought it up because my pace in the classroom has slowed down (Im a teacher) and again, she mentioned that to her, I didn’t look too uncomfortable to have that procedure done. My husband and I have no idea where this is coming from and still if anything want the MRI to take place. Because if Kennedys cardiologist is saying that her heart won’t be the reason why she passes, then lets see what an MRI could/would reveal. Our story has had so many turns but we are still believing Jesus Christ for a miracle. I am 34 weeks and she is currently 3.5 pounds. If you Dr Papa, have any insight , I would love to hear from you! Dosesnoe@gmail.com God bless all families that are on this journey ♥️
@drpapa
Thank you ❤
Will your baby have low blood sugar indefinitely if you have GD? I’m so nervous and sick to my stomach they are barely telling me now at 37 weeks I have GD and they are sorry it was not catched earlier.
Thanks this was really clearly explained
Unfortunately woman no longer have any choices. They are forced to deliver and will be forced to provide every life saving intervention available. If the baby is miscarried or dies at any time after birth will there be a homicide investigation? Will the family end up up declaring bankruptcy? Will any right to lifer even ponder these questions? Had anyone on the Supreme Court even heard of trisomy 18 or any other birth defect? Did they even think about unintended consequences when the overturned Roe v. Wade?
I have a baby with Trisomy 18. She is 5 months old now and extremely beautiful
Hi Doctor What is tha normal blood sugar after 1hr of meal. Taking novorapid insulin before each meal. If sugar levels is 85mg/dl after 1hr of food this is normal or low. After embryo transfer and those who are pregnant. Please reply.

I have trisomy 8
My first born daughter had trisomy 18. She passed away still inside me at 6months along
😢
❤
You delivered my boys NYE 2008, you and your sister saved my boys’ lives. I will always be grateful to you two!
Gorgeous baby!!!
Thank you for talking about the family's quality of life and having to deal with the trauma of carrying, delivering and then burying a baby.
My daughter has partial trisomy 18 which is a trans location. She is still alive and she is in her 30s. I found out I was a carrier, I have the translocation, but all of my chromosomes are there with no extra material. None of my additional pregnancies were successful. They all had this translocation. My love for her is boundless. My beliefs are a little bit different, I believe that I had chosen her, and she had chosen me as her mother before she had entered my body, and having you choose a path that you take when you enter a physical body.
My son was born to me at 21. Now, he's trisomy 21. 40 years later I'm so blessed. You folks done the best thing for Hannah. God bless you to this day. Angie
My 21 DS son is 54!😊
Thank you sharing your story. It means so much to me and comforts me at this very hard time.
I just gave birth to my daughter with down syndrome on the 10th Nov. No one picked it up except me. I told nurses and doctors something was wrong and mentioned down syndrome. After 3 days and after her breathing became faster and feeding worse, they finally did a DNA test. It came back positive for t21 and once they did an echocardiogram, a complete avsd as well. She is still in hospital and will be til surgery in a couple months, til she hits 5kg and is ready for surgery. She is the light of my life I never had before and the child I never knew I needed. She's pure peace and love.
Could nausea during pregnancy be a signal to stop eating, and allow the woman's metabolism to switch to ketogenesis?
Abortion is NOT healthcare. You don't get to take a life to stay out of poverty. Don't want to get pregnant - use birth control
I'm 5 months pregnant with a beautiful baby boy with tricimy 18
Нельзя быть настолько эгоистичной, чтобы обрекать на короткую (несколько дней, не более 2 месяцев) жизнь, полную боли и мучений, несчастного невинного младенца!
Thanks!
Lost my first grandson to this last year. He only survived three days. 😢
