Thought I’d make another repair video, this time repairing the bayonet mount ring on the Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm lens. The issue was 2 of the 3 bayonet features had snapped off because my camera thought it could fly again... Once again, so lucky to have no cracked lens seen as I had no cover attached at the time. Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm lens. The issue was the zoom was stuck on the 55mm setting, it turned out the metal rails had bent due to the fall impact on the edge of lens.
