This still does not work! After disconnecting both connector, the chime, annoying chime still beeps at random times.

Good question I forget, been a while now. The filter itself will have a little flow indicator with an arrow. Pretty easy to suss out once you're under there. Just like with a woman 😂

It's just the seat belt light. Does not tie into the airbags. They are independent systems

All you had to do was start with a six cylinder BMW and it would be way faster then this POS. You’re starting with the worst slowest BMW they are the biggest dogs I’m sure it’s automatic to and then you put a bullshit super charger that probably took power away from the already 100 horsepower engine
lmfao. im well aware. the reason i did this project was i paid next to nothing for this heap of a bmw. it was clean low miles.. but 4 banger and slow as fck..it couldnt even spin its back tires.. my goal.. was to make the car able to do this. after the SC it could. goal achieved. it was without a doubt quicker. but by no means what would be considered a fast car. feel free to modify the cars you own any way you see fit bud. this was a backyard project that cost very little and was just for fun. but surely you know how to have fun right? :D

how did you get the supercharger on did you make a braket or modified the a/c brakcet?
Not a good idea. They dont make much power and consume a lot of your engine power ....especifically when your supercharger is small in size .
How much hp did it add? And what's your total HP at the wheels? If you don't mind me asking.. I'm interested in getting one of these superchargers
From my research, which is limited, these really only work on engines up to 2.0l. I saw some guys with 4 cylinder engines that it actually restricted air flow at full throttle and made the car slower.
@@justaguynamedmax8207 2 liter is a very generous claim from the manufacturer. I'd say with any engine over 1.0-1.2 I would look for something else. A more fitting car to install this would be a Maruti or a Vivio.
@@justaguynamedmax8207 they work on engine lower than 2L, 1.6l are a must. They're poorly made and because of that, they doesn't produce 500cc per revolution. So bigger the engine, the less it work.

500cc/ revolution (30.5 cu.in.) With straight, 2 lobe rotors. It could be over-driven, and make good boost on a 650cc-1000cc drag bikes or larger if RPM is kept low. Or it could be under-driven for smaller engines. On a 500cc two stroke, with the blower being driven 1.5:1 with the crank, it would produce approximately 7 psi boost. On a 750cc four stroke, with the blower being driven 1:1 with the crank, it would produce approximately 5 psi boost. On a 750cc four stroke, with the blower being driven 1.5:1 with the crank, it would produce approximately 15 psi boost. On a 1000cc four stroke, with the blower being driven 1.5:1 with the crank, it would produce approximately 9.5 psi boost. On a 1600cc VW engine, with the blower being driven 2.1:1 with the crank, it would produce approximately 5 psi, but the engine RPM must be limited to 8000 rpm. Max blower continous speed is 16,000 RPM Before this, these were only available in Japan! This would be a great blower for any small engine up to 1200cc ( depending on RPM ).
awesome, this is exactly what my research came up with as ideal applications for these super chargers. i do have a 993cc kei car that i keep eyeballing as a suitable car to mount another one into :D

You are limited to the size of this super charger. It's only capable of pushing so much air before it restricts the air flow of the motor. 2.8l you would need a bigger capacity supercharge
@@theguywithajeep so what can i put I don't want something big i want something small and i will put some bigers cams and stuff so the engine is safe and i want a supercharged to run low but not something like the big vf supercharged for example

There's no way to get around the fact that a bigger engine needs more air. More air means a bigger supercharger. I was pushing the limits of the 500cc super charger with this car..
@@andronikosandronikou9587 Your B28 will suck more air than the AMR500 could put out. You will create an engine brake effetively
