A lot of boat shows occur in winter or early spring. That was our first time at the Sidney Boat Show at it was quite good. Boat shows in the USA are usually quite big. We attended one in Annapolis which showcased a lot of boats. We also like Nordic Tug, Nordavn & Fleming… one can dream! Happy boat hunting and thanks for watching!😎
It seems more of a risk to sell your house to buy a boat. And even if you live on your boat a lot, it’s nice to have a homebase as somewhere to return if you become ill or injured. No we don’t regret selling Stay Cool. She was purchased specifically for the Great Loop and we knew once we finished, she would be sold to new loopers. But we do miss being out on the water and we are looking for a different type of vessel for west coast boating. We have sailed small sailboats in the past and it has a certain romantic appeal. Depending on location, sailboats often end up motor-sailing! At this point in our lives and for the type of boating we plan to do, we prefer a motor vessel. Thanks for watching!😎
