After visiting the UK last year I found the things I didn't like were; Parking was expensive, Using toilets costs money, VAT Tax, Fuel prices expensive, New car prices expensive, Wages low, Accommodation expensive, McDonalds crowded. (Loved the banana shakes though!) What I liked was, Food was cheaper by 20%, Public transport was amazing, Flights to Ireland/Europe short, affordable and convenient. In Australia you have hot days in summer, drop bears landing on your head the second you get off the plane, snakes everywhere just waiting to swallow you whole, and spiders as big as dinner plates landing on you the moment you go for a walk. Don't get me started on the 9ft boxing kangaroos that are usually seen in boxing gloves however if you can fight you should be OK.

Most liveable city my ass - Melbourne is definitely a great place to visit BUT not so great to live in unless you have money, love traffic, don't need much nature, like overpriced pretentious cafes/pubs/resturants, don't like privacy, do like drunken idiot people, like to pay thousands of dollars to rent an apartment the size of a garden shed, love to see graffiti covering EVERYTHING, are willing to ignore all the homeless people and the extreme class divide between the privileged elite and the thousands of poorly paid urban slaves, love the smugness and arrogance of many city dwellers, love the endless construction and insanely poorly planned development schemes, really like the government corruption, absolutely love the cultish obsession with AFL, I could go on but what's not to love about a city so full of itself that it has the audacity to call itself the world's most 'liveable'' city?! WTF does that even mean?? Liveable is a made up word just like so many other lazy ass words people here make up.
