Scorpion, definately! I had sheffields and they all sound worthlessly fuzzy. scorpion has a muddier sound and a true semi-scooped midrange. very important to change the magnets now and then.. i mean every 20 years or so. i would take a wedll functioning scorpion over any vintage 30 or g12 any day of the week.

I know Metal folks go w that buzzy high end for some reason, but I don't like it. Do you think they actually like the sound ? Or is it that they want that much distortion and put up w it. I love distortion, even extreme distortion, but that fitzy high end sucks.

Love this. Higher output pups make the ds1 get splatty and farty. Really low output humbuckers with the gain below 12, tone below 12 can work. P90s are great.

There is TAP TEMPO function. Press DLY button to get to edit delay mode, then tap tempo using the right footswitch. In fact, you can control the SPEED parameter of any modulation effect this way! Just go to edit page of that effect.

You convinced me! Getting back into guitar, and I'm going back to my old favourite brand GuitarFetish to put those lipsticks in my new shell pink Donner strat. Not that the blue guitar didn't sound as good or even better in some ways... The other one just sounds more interesting to me.

YEP, nice amp BUT the gain goes form 0-60 in literally a ‘tap’ on the gain knob… 2 trick pony imo, super sterile cleans and high compressed gain. Not much in between if you ask me… bummer.

You might want to look into the Joyo Bantamp series of lunchbox amps, particularly the JaCkMan model. Fraction of the price and sounds very good.

They are awesome. I don’t think it’s quite as good as the victory , orange or Friedman lunch box heads. Not because of the tone, but that it doesn’t really have a mid gain sound. It’s either all in or all out. If you have a technical part and you want clarity I find its hard to back it off.

Hi thank for the video .I bought it 2 days ago. For its price it's a very good pedal. The only thing that don't like is that the delay speed parameters in ms ,go from 0 to ( more or less) 400/410 ms . You can't set the speed from 400/410ms to 1000ms. Greetings from Italy

I've never played a real Klon but i have the silver horse and absolutely love it. Best drive pedal I've ever owned and i have many. Silver horse in front of UAFX Lion into UAFX OX is the best sound I've ever had direct to board. This Wampler sounds great here and i prefer it to the silver horse in this comparison

I have this amp but it has scratchy pots ... I tried spraying de-oxit on them from the circuit board and nothing changed ... what else can I do?

That mosky is a good way to try klon sound, but i would still go for jhs notaklon, have a bit more goop in it

Always dig the hell out of your playing, you've got a criminally underrated channel on this here cess pit of a platform. The Movall electra video brought me into the fold. This pedal sounds a ton like a store-brand pedal I picked up recently from GC, the Gamma "Bacchus" which is ostensibly a BD-2 or Keeley Super Phat Mod, even has the same arrangement for the controls only with the addition of the fat switch.
