Happy Holidays Chuck! They're not as far apart as I thought they would be. Interesting. Keep 'em comin' champ! lol

Your bendings and vibrato have developed very nicely man, appreciations. About the pedals: I think where a Klon-style is usually very different to a tubescreamer-type is that the Klon has a real clean-boost, while the tubescreamer always compresses and distorts slightly.

oooh, I just got a mosky marksman klon clone recently to compare with my mosky green screamer so this is very relevant

man is it just me or do they both sound killer? i think MAYBE the TS is compressed just a TINY bit more where the K is clean boost, is that where the negligible amount of high end comes from? awesome both ways tho

Honestly, a good speaker or impulse response goes a long way. I’m using the free AI Impulse Response of a Celestion H30 from Tone Junkies. So far everything sounds great through it 🤷‍♂️

To me the obvious differences are the Klon clone is darker. I think a bit of judicious frequency adjustment would make it hard to differentiate between the two. Both sound good.

I could probably have set them up to sound the same, but I wanted to set each up to where I thought they sounded best doing what they do. They do push slightly different frequencies.

Klon sounds better. Big difference to me
