Yes, I had the Vox version a long time ago. It was good, but I wound up getting the Orange terror stamp and that replaced the bantamp. Lots of amps comes and go around here lol.
They are awesome. I don’t think it’s quite as good as the victory , orange or Friedman lunch box heads. Not because of the tone, but that it doesn’t really have a mid gain sound. It’s either all in or all out. If you have a technical part and you want clarity I find its hard to back it off.
I get great mid gain tones from this amp. It’s an American voiced amp so it’s gain and eq going to sound different than Friedman, Orange, and Victory. Play this MT-15 head through a 2x12 Two Rock cab using a Les Paul or 335 on the clean channel with the push pull knob in the “pulled” setting. Play it at 1/2 power and dime the volume. It’s at gig volume but perfect for any club venue. You get a killer crunch tone with the ability to roll your guitar’s volume back to clean up. It’s really punchy through those two rock speakers. Hit a tube screamer, or overdrive pedal to kick it into higher driven tones for leads. Can cover anything from Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers/Warren Haynes and everything in between on just that channel alone. I use the red channel with the gain just hardly on with the volume dimed and get lead tones that rival the Soldano SLO-30. I’ve done comparisons between the two in my home studio and its splitting hairs. The only difference is that Soldano has a bigger bass response, a more open, less compressed tone. I still prefer the MT-15. It’s tighter, and I can use all my OD pedals with my 335 without it feeding back with noise. I’ve thrown everything at the MT-15 and it’s been so hard to beat. Been my main gigging amp for the past 6 years. People are always blown away by how good this thing sounds. Try this head using these methods I provided and you’ll be a believer. 🤘🤘
YEP, nice amp BUT the gain goes form 0-60 in literally a ‘tap’ on the gain knob… 2 trick pony imo, super sterile cleans and high compressed gain. Not much in between if you ask me… bummer.
That's thing rock's " I subscribed I been looking for a smaller tube amp! Right on!!
Right on. Thanks! I’ve been through so many tube amps through the years, I think this one is the keeper.
You might want to look into the Joyo Bantamp series of lunchbox amps, particularly the JaCkMan model. Fraction of the price and sounds very good.

My MT-15 measures at 32.5 watts. It’s definitely more than 15 watts 😂
Wow! I can see that lol. I wonder how loud the new Mt100 is then 🤔
@@Chucksguitargeekerysomeone needs to break out the oscilloscope and test one! 😂
