Hi so very glad your on the mend been law here in UK To wear a helmet must admit on summer rides wear open faced it's one peace of gear I would aways wear but still don't like being told I must you guys take care stay free

Glad you are doing better Sally, I always ware my gear, 11 months ago I high sided at 85 & if I hadn't have had my gear on, a fractured spine in two places, broken ribs & internal bruising wouldn't have been all I got, plus I landed on rural Qld Australia bitumen which is exceptionally rough, not smooth at all & thanks to Almighty God & my gear, i didn't even have a single cut or abrasion on me. Jesus Christ didn't take you in that accident Sally, just like your accident, he didn't take me from this earth because of His love & mercy & wanted to give me time to get right with Almighty God, Praise Jesus Christ you are alive & that your husband is with you looking after you. God bless you both, take care guys :)

I would not always wear a helmet until I saw my dad go down in front of me and spin like a top that told me every time I'm in the saddle helmet on now I make my grandson wear one

The dumbasses in Missouri got rid of their helmet law 2 years ago. Pure idiocy

bummer! happy to see you made it through a life changing event as well as you did. glad you guys both survived that day. now work on recovery and we'll be here waiting for updates and wishing you all the best in the meantime. keep up on the protein and keep up with the good spirits!

what ever injuries you got from him ……well he deserves….something , or the word it out cars can do this. Many just get a “failure to yield” ticket or something.

So glad to see you're making good progress. Been watching your channel for a while. After my wreck I started wearing a fullface helmet. I'm now ATGATT.

When I had mine, the hospital in georgia was super cool, instead of them telling me how dangerous bikes are and asking if I learned my lesson, they asked cool questions about riding, told me encouraging stories about other patients who recovered and got right back in the saddle, even loaned me a tablet so I could order my replacement parts and even signed my helmet...you are in my prayers and I promise it gets better and you will be back out there riding in no time.

Recovery is a fickle time, I had an accident and hardware,beat physio, as you heal do not be afraid to move what you can ,if it hurts stop try again later helps stop muscle degradation, comfortable recovery Sally hope no further complications

That man across form you is worth more than Gold. I had a much more minor accident but I was unable to move around.. My wife told me she could not come pick me up because she too busy at work. I had to ask a friend from work to come get me. That was years ago but I still cant let the anger go.

I was hit @ 40mph in foot pegs 12 screw in foot got shoulder out of socket spin problems and neck hope your ok I've been riding since 4yrs old I know about black Betty, red and furtel ground. Sorry to here

Sidenote,I'm so happy you had your skid lid on,I'm bad about wearing mine at times,But my trip from down here in Florida to back home in Ohio got me back to wearing mine.It's really not as bad as I remembered.We are only here for a moment in time, No need in rushing it along .I need to buy a nice full-face Helmet now, Again, get well kiddo !

I didn't start wearing a DOT full face helmet until I started wearing glasses. Nine months ago, I crashed my ironhead. I didn't know it until afterwards when I saw the gash mark on the helmet that My head actually hit the pavement. I guess the glasses was a good thing? So glad you're alright. Attitude is everything when it comes to recovery. Keep your chin up and God bless.

Sally, I see the answered prayer happening. I’ll keep beating on the doors of heaven for your recovery. Keep us updated so we know how to pray. Stay positive. (And thank you for such an uplifting video at a time of such personal difficulty. This speaks volumes of your character. You are a good human being-an old soul in a young person).

So glad you made it through. I had a severe accident in my younger years. When everything looked hopeless, I just kept looking ahead. Ended up going to AMI to learn more about Harleys, still was using a cane and had more operations to go, but I never looked back...just forward. Sometime a good "wake up call" is what we need to realize our priorities about life. Its about living, not chasing the dollar or keeping up with what other think about you. Its about you, your life, your loves and what the future brings. You will be all right girl. Just keep on being you and it will all work out. All the best to you guys.

Here in new zealand must wear a helmet at all times otherwise will be fined. And wearing all protection should be the way to go im definately sharing this video let other people out there no and hopefully get them to wear safety gear also especially a helmet.

Memorial Day laid my bike down, shifter peg impaled my foot crushing my foot enterally, now two surgeries later and three months have passed and still not walking but We will, Praying for you this day🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
