I prefer kaspersky but it got banned in the US sadly so I'm gonna switch to Bitdefender

I've got Malwarebytes Threatdown Logged in and working with it today. I'll shoot straight. I'm unimpressed. I cannot get it to scan. It doesn't seem to be doing anything upon taking action.

You dont need to do all Emsisoft settings in the web portal. It is still possible in the Emsisoft app UI

Can you try unknown rats or packed viruses ? I don't think getting viruses on the internet is a good way to test a anti virus.

Do they have the same effectivity on the free versions? or which FREE AV is the best in 2024 for Windows?

All malware in the Comodo machine is isolated = 100 % catch rate.

Both Kaspersky and Bitdefender are the best antivirus. But unfortunately Bitdefender Free has very limited features. Unlike Kaspersky Free which has many features. But both are still the best antivirus that I really like.

Windows Defender is mediocre. Not bad but not good enough. Mcafee and Norton have a lot more to offer
