Noice test Expected results by Webroot. Disappointing results by Vipre. First only decent results in the Web test. And then allowing or getting system locked down. It is difficult to judge what might have happened on Vipre Machine but my guess would be that Unknown latest Stealer detected by Kaspersky.
@@AlrekArinbjorn Maybe in a way, yes. Comodo/Xcitium does default deny approach. So something might be allowed/whitelisted by them or you but then if something is trying to run that is unknown it will then just contain it regarless if it is whitelisted. I try not to whitelist to much as it does create a hole in your protection 🙂
@@jitechsolutions Well I have my install of comodo set to just auto-block everything, the container is set to block too. And I have my cloud lookup disabled with the vast majority of the vendor names removed. Only the vendors for things I personally use are in there.

Two USA anti-virus companies

When will antivirus companies learn that whitelisting is the only way to go?
I don't think whitelisting is the correct way. If the vendor is breached you have a supply chain attack. Best practice is zero trust
@@jitechsolutions Isn't "zero trust" just another form of whitelisting?
