Hi Lisa, very new to putting in zips however with your help I have managed three pouches all different sizes (cutting zips to size). One with boxed sides the other two flat as I needed them. Many thanks

My favorite zip pouch video, and I've watched them all. I do love your clear instructions for the side tabs. Also, thank you for giving us a brief view of your sewing technique, so I could work out when to use the zipper foot, and what side to put the needle on. Subscribed and looking forward to more excellent videos from you!

Although I find the instruction for inserting the zipper fantastic, at no point are we ever told, either in the video or pattern, the length of the zipper. do we just wing it an hope its the correct size?

Am I blind? Nowhere in the pattern am I able to see how long the zipper is supposed to be?

very nice. Thanks for not using twenty yards of double sided tape and just using clips instead. Some of the folks doing videos are not sewing much other than sticking stuff together with double sided tape first on every seam they sew. Nice pouch and love your techniques.

The best tutorial of them all. And I've watched a bunch! I made my granddaughters pouches to hold their new gel pens as part of their Christmas gifts. The only thing I did that was different is, I applied interfacing to the outside pieces only. I thought it would be too bulky if applied to both sides. They came out perfectly. Thanks for sharing your video. I'm looking forward to watching your entire library. SUBSCRIBED!

Being a newbie with sewing, zippers seemed daunting until I came across your video. Plenty of other videos assume too much, for me anyway, and I find myself pausing and replaying parts often. Your video explains and demonstrates the steps nicely. Thank you so much!!!!

Best how-to pouch vid I've come across so far.. and I've watched a lot. That you take the time to mention what to directionally do with the zip when sewing up the sides is what most others are missing. I'm still practicing adding zips to pouches and bags but this vid makes it clear in the detail and steps you provide. I made my second one along with you during your vid, pausing the vid to complete the steps, then starting it up again to move on. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing what you've done ❤ It's a really good idea using two cabinets for a work table. I have one of these units that we use as a TV stand but the compartments are for my fabrics also, I couldn't resist the beige boxes with the white dots, I have 6 and need one more, the other compartment has drawers
