Magic, I think this self analysis + the theorical videos like the one for building placement are the best combo for learning. At least for me they are.

About repetition. I am a teacher and I can tell you: repetition is necessary, but if it becomes boring it can be counterproductive. This only happens if you repeat it more than 2 times in a single 15min video (YT case). Boredom comes in 2 ways: if your audience thinks you are being condescending to them; or if the information is so readily available (like if you repeat it several times) that people realize there is no need to memorize it because you will say it again later. So: keep a balance and repeat a little. Not repeating is as bad as doing it too much. I talk from experience.

They should balance the game so people do not resign when they lose army of 10 in second age. Most tournament games end like this which is not entertaining to watch. Game has 3rd age 4th age but game mechanics does not allow to reach them in competitive games. I think they should make towers and walls more powerfull so when a person lose a fight they can at least try to defend. Secondly losing control of gold mines should not be the end. Markets and caravans should do enough to hold the game for a while in 3rd and 4th age.

Can the Oracles' line of sight for generating favor now overlap? They didn't mention this in the patch notes, but I tested it today and found that overlapping their vision no longer reduces the favor generation rate!

Thanks a lot for the guide. One question, at the beginning, isn’t it better for the gold villager to build the manor immediately after he spawns? That way he gets more time mining with the pickaxe researched rather than building the manor while the pickaxe has already been researched.

Congrats on the win and getting onto the semifinals. And I called it for each of those matches. For me, Gaia vs Posiden had the best chance for the game to go either way, but the way Gaia is right now, she is just better. When they nerf her, if it's not with buffs to Leto and Rheia, she will go all the way down to the bottom again. Zeus and Hades are just not very good gods. Zeus' god power is way too expensive and too lengthy on cooldown for what it does. Hades god power is all about defensive play, but in a game that is so heavy in favour of rush and aggression, only the top 1% of players can pull the defensive play properly. Even then, I would still not want to pick these gods. I mean, they're not the only factor, of course, but they are more of an indication of how things are going to go.
