The Ugly Truth Behind Financial Fair Play
The lack of clarity with football's financial regulations and how they work, has created widespread confusion amongst supporters. Additionally, the rules have caused an unfair balance between football’s powerhouses and everyone else. I’m going to cut through football’s financial laws, simplify and explain them; shine a light on their ugly truth and show you my remedy to regulating clubs’ spending.

Are Footballers Playing Too Much?
มุมมอง 32K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
For the 2024/25 season, leading footballers could play up to 86 games, and FIFA wants to add more. Whilst players are paid extremely well, they have made it clear that this is too much for them - physically and mentally. We've reached a tipping point. Let me show you why footballs governing bodies want more games and competitions, what impact this could have on players if this isn’t solved, and...

Why Are Footballers So Boring?

Football was once dominated by players with huge personalities. George Best, Paul Gascoigne; Eric Cantona. When you compare these iconic figures to modern footballers, the contrast couldn’t be more obvious. Today’s players are far more professional and disciplined but equally robotic, predictable… boring. Arsène Wenger’s 22 years at Arsenal was a tale of two halves. For nearly a decade, the Frenchman spearheaded a revolution, full of success and history. The Downfall Of José Mourinho

Jose Mourinho's rise to the pinnacle of European football was spectacular, but the last few years have seen his stock fall - to a level, that once upon a time, would seem impossible. Let me explain how and why footballs greatest character, and arguably greatest manager, has been unfairly labelled the finished one, but also how his best chapter could be yet to come. If this club World Cup must go ahead in the next couple of years, then it should be a substitute for pre season tours which I doubt clubs like Barca and real want to because of the revenue made from these tours. Nations league is also just not needed to replace friendlies. Those in power seem to have forgotten that these players’ bodies aren’t machine that can be upgraded like machines or only need an hour to get full rest physically and mentally like our devices do. It doesn’t. I just looked at the uefa 2026 qualifying calendar and the nations league scheduled match days. From 2025, they are a day apart. First leg of the nations league quarter final is on the 20tj of March. Match day 1 of the World Cup qualifiers is either on 21st or 22nd of March. Obviously this would have to be changed but then Match day 3 and 4 of the UEFA World Cup qualifiers fall between 6-10th June 2025z the club World Cup starts on the 15th of June and the semi finals of the nations league is on 4th or 5th of June. This isn’t just killing the players it’s killing the pockets of match going fans and even enjoying football. There’s too much of it and it’s being diluted because of the congestion of the increasing number of games

    I havent watched the video yet but i think its bcause the duality of the viewers itself😂,when players became themselves like vini did people would bashed him because the "bad and arrogance attitude" or just look at pundit and viewers always judging and criticized pogba and lingard for being themselves and calling them clown for having an unique hair or having a dance Its the viewers and pundit itself that wanted footballer to be an "1 dimensional good boy focus on the game" type of guy,for fucking sake😂

    Always thought-provoking. Whilst I'm sure there would be drawbacks, I would favour US-style player trades. This would amount to every team having a net-zero spend. Smaller clubs could improve by trading high-potential young prospects for established older players. Or just by trading a couple of utility players for one quality player.

    Great video brother👏🏾 Imo Wenger did great in his first decade at the club. And then 2006-2015 were actually still decent considering we had no money. The issue is post 2015-2028. It was obvious Wenger has declined and couldn’t compete with the better managers. We did have money to spend post 2013 but Wenger and the board wasted it on players like Mustafi, Xhaka (he was shit under Wenger), and Lacazette. People forget Wenger signed Laca and Auba for over 100m in within 6 months. When some of that money should’ve been reinvested into our defence. The main issue I have with Wenger is there’s just no excuse for not being able to win that league title in 15/16. We had the best foundation to succeed and still finished TEN points City and not Man City but Leicester City… Also his European legacy is a disgrace tbh. And only getting to 1 final with the squads we had for that first decade is shambles.

    the reason we won a treble of ucls, and won all our other ucls in the 21th century and all other trophies are not because of people like cristiano, zizou, vini, benzema and more, its because of him...the owner of football, he is smarter than people like messi, busquets and all, more powerful than all the glazers combined, and more dirty and evil than people like gattuso, pepe, ramos, this man is the greatest " player " in real madrid history, and football history...he is florentino perez

    No, they are crying too much!!! NBA for example has 82 regular season games, BEFORE the playoffs. A game which is way harder to the body than football, already cause of the fact it's all action unlike football where many players stand around most of the time. They are overpaid, sugarcoated little girls that act like they got hit by a nuke, once another player only thinks of tackling them.

    • @anavazquez6218
      @anavazquez6218 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You can’t compare the nba to football. Not in its intensity, minutes played or even the season itself. NBA season is 6 months. Football season is 9 months not including the World Cup or the euros or AFCON. Football players are travelling between continents regularly which nba players don’t have to. That takes a toll on the body. The changes in temperature and in time (jet lag). A football player easily covers 7-8km a game basketball players rarely do that. On average a tennis player runs more than a basketball player. Whether they are paid too much or not is an opinion you’re free to have but a lot of players play with small injuries and one kick to the ankle is enough to set them back 3 weeks. The body needs rest. There’s a reason why we’re told not to exercise 7 days a week. The body needs rest. This is a game that is more physically tasking than basketball. Look at Pedri, Ansu fati, ousmane dembele. All players who started at the top very young and have had to deal with muscle injuries since. Football players are effectively getting a month of rest where they are still expected to stay fit. You can’t compare it to basketball

    It's crazy that American sports like baseball, or basketball play more games but have way more off-season time. I know we don't have international matches and things as much as football does, but one would think that a shorter pre-season would be nice in a players can work themselves into form over the first few weeks of the season.

      @anavazquez6218 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I so wish that there was more time for these players to rest. I don’t understand why there isn’t a governing body stopping fifa or uefa from creating these longer drawn competitions. Besides their pockets, it does no one any good
