This is great. I did a similar blind recently. Bookers (Mighty Fine) KC SiB, OGD 114, Bakers 7 SiB. Finished in that order for me, but honestly they were pretty close for my unrefined pallet.

You will notice at the beginning I correctly refer to this release at the Reserves. Then, for some reason, I start calling it the Infinite. I am not sure why I made this mistake, but I wanted to clear up any confusion. This is a review and comparison for the Booker's the Reserves. Aged for 8 years, 2 months, and 12 days, and bottled at 127.8 proof. Cheers buddies thanks for watching 🥃

It's funny you did this, I tasted the Reserves against my OGD 114 and a Knob Select. For me, the Reserves came out on top, but not by a lot. I would say the Knob Select was very close, but I still prefer the Reserves.

I regret not buying a case of OGD114 at Safeway when I could have for 16.99 each.... It's definitely a top 5, best affordable whiskey, depending on your preferred palate.

I saw the regular offering bottles in bond and another on a hunting trip. Didn’t grab any because I haven’t seen anyone give a review yet. I will definitely be looking for the cask strength if they have that offering

23 days is ridiculous and I don’t care how busy they are if they are selling it then it should be in stock. Had a small issue with Seelbach once but after texting them the bottle arrived in two days. But 23 is terrible and I’d probably not use them anymore. You’re lucky to have a store that is willing to get you some special stuff. Nice haul!! Enjoy!! 🥃🥃🥃

The 24 is already well over 23 on the secondary market. I've seen it advertised for much as $799 which is just outlandish and crazy.

23 days is not normal 😅 I can't imagine a whiskey online place not being able to fill an order in more than 5days, from "being busy"

Used speakeasy co several times as frey ranch and several other distilleries use them and never had an issue. I do know that speakeasy picks or recieves the bottles and then sends them to other states when distilleries cant. Never waited 23 days unless it was Seelbach which takes forever sometimes.

I have always been so underwhelmed by Thomas Handy. I guess I just don't get how you find this bottle to be more than average? At a hundred and 25 I would put this as the most over hyped and worst value bottle ever. I mean seriously, I can't name a single bottle that is more inapporiately priced than Handy. This bottle has nothing to offer. It's young and tastes young and who cares that its barrel proof. Anyway, I'm curious, as to why you find this whiskey extrodianry? Having had it over the years I find it worthy of a 40 dollar bottle.

I’ve seen Rip on a shelf-that’s about. Dumb ?-is it good or just hype city? So just regular’ ol’ MM CS? Would using 46 improve it? Lastly, I’ve done some blends-how long leave spiral in? Usually take 2-3 weeks for whiskeys to “meld”. What’s your timeline expectation? Great stuff btw!!

23 days is a bit too long for a normal liquor store, par for the course at Seelbach's (especially with Four Gate), I waited for almost 2 months for a Kelvin 60.
