@DaveVogelsang-b8v good call on 33 that one was extra special! I know you aren't a huge rye guy, but Seagrass is sure a great place to go! Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I have consumed many Barrell Bourbon bottles. My current favorite is Foundations. I have never tried any of their " numbered" products, but after your review I may have to hunt this one because it sounds like something I would enjoy! Cheers!
@thomasgallagher1945 I would say this drinks like Foundation. Honestly a Barrel proof version of that is not a bad comparison. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I have 28-36, and out of those I agree top 3. I think 27 is my all time fav, which is hilarious since of course I dont own that one lol. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I agree that there is an over saturation of sources juice. But the people doing it right, I think deserve some credit. Its all about blending. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I like barrel, but I don’t chase all their releases, I try to put my ear to the ground and cherry pick the better releases. I do really like vantage, foundation is nice, but you just can’t get everything. Cheers DB
Oh I totally agree there, they do too many releases to get everything. Same with Bookers and the HH bp stuff. Between those if you bought them all, you would end up with 12 bottles every year. Add in barrell and you have at least another 5. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
My 'neat' journey started when Batch 34 was out and I've passed on it and 35 at $85. I do like their Foundation, which is the only Barrel bourbon I've tried, I may still try the 35 if I come across one. I've just never spent more than $70 on any given bottle.
I dont blame you there. The one thing that I would say with everything going up so much, an $80 bottles is what you would have gotten out of a $60 bottle teo years ago. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
If I were you, I would turn around. Look at the top shelf in the middle. Cards on the table barrell send me seagrass only seagrass nothing but seagrass all day all night!
Nice review YDB. I have Barrell Bourbon batches 32-36, Foundation, Vantage and Amburana. Bought backup bottles for #33, #35 and #36. 🥃

I have the 35 and just got the 36. I had my wife pour a blind tasting and I preferred the 35, though the 36 was good.
Nice. I love doing stuff like that. It really helps you figure out what you really think about the whiskey.

agreed & I really like both but 35 edges out 36 for me
My favorite barrel releases are: 15 yr, seagrass standard and silver, need to look out for this I guess!
Mizunara is better. Get that one first. It is fantastic.
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
I thought Milk Duds when I opened this, first few sips.
@moneyUWM really interesting note. I think you are right!

I am very happy with this batch. It barely lasted a week. Of all the Barrell batches I own (16), this is in my top 2 or 3.

Sounds good!
It sure is! I need to get you a sample.
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃
@@yourdrinkingbuddy thank you buddy
Barrel foundation is solid . I like 34 , 35 is still up in the air . Seagrass is still unsure . over all good but pricey .
Fair. I undertand that.

Alot of $$ for sourced juice 🤔 . Indiana and Tennessee is all I need to hear 😖. Just my opinion. Good review as always 👍 😉🥃Cheers

Seagrass buddy!
I definitely need a bottle of Grey label. It absolutely slaps. It is near the top of my list.
