most of my childhood games were cartoon/movie based, although at first i did had plenty of Nintendo too, but for some reason i wasn't always engaged in them, i love Mario games though, and Zelda games kind of. as a grown up, i get into retro gaming and also a bit of modern gaming too, and i also like fighting games, i grew with Soul Calibur 2 as a kid, but as a teen/adult i mostly played retro fighting games, such as Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. now i'm now into Street Fighter Alpha 3. I have Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 for PS3 and also Super Street Fighter 4 AE.

Was having an rough day of work, and then died laughing at "I can show you the poop world" lol

Before i knew i was trans i felt oddly connected to Samus once i realized she was a girl under the armour. Especially after i played all the gamea. It just kind of helped me realize who i was a bit

My brother and my first ever Super Nes game was Donkey Kong Country 2, it was bundled with the Snes, so you can tell we got one pretty late into its lifecycle. I always expected platformers to have good music but DKC 2 blew my mind, especially disco train, stickerbush symphony, hot head bop, forest interlude and mining melancholy, that was when I went from appreciating game soundtracks to falling in love with a video game soundtrack. Plus the graphics were stunning for a 2D game. Just like you, it's my favourite super nes game and also my comfort game, I can't count how many times I've beaten it now over the years, I can go through it pretty fast now. And yeah snes rainbow road is best rainbow road !

"Rainbow Road" from "Mario Kart 64" has the best "Rainbow Road" soundtrack. Also, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is my favorite one because I have so many memories of all of my brothers and me playing against each other.

Eddie Fender’s like the lowest of hanging fruit as a name. I still cannot get used to it with how much of a downgrade it is no matter how you slice it. Since the stream has arule of not bringing up the fan translation, I’ll keep from talking about that one and instead bring up his Japanese name, that being Tateyuki Shigaraki which when broken down, Shigaraki is comprised of the characters “shin” (trust) and “tano” (one of the characters of “tanoshi” which means fun, a reference to his disarming personality and his theme song, Wisecracking Candor) whereas Tateyuki contains a character (“Tate”) that means “shield”, indicating not only his occupation but also showing how he’s the shield to “Edge”worth’s blade (Gregory and Miles), hearkening back as well to Edgeworth’s prosecutor trophy with the shield that can block any attack and the sword that pierces all. This holds true even with Edgeworth’s Japanese name (Mitsurugi has the kanji for “sword” in it). Eddie Fender on the other hand drops the “trust” and “fun” and goes almost all in on the defense attorney aspect in three ways, one of which I will gladly admit to actually liking. You have the obvious pun of “A Defender”, there’s his last name Fender which is the closest thing a car and a boat (via tires or plastic cylinders) has to a shield for its body, and his first proper name of Edward containing ward which describes both his relationship to Gregory (like how Burt Ward was to Adam West as most people saw them when together); just thought of this one) and the act of guarding or protecting. As such I actually prefer to call him Edward Fender because it not only covers up the terrible pun but Edward working on a couple of levels, it kinda brings back the cool factor that his other names had. Yeah, after writing all this out, I think I’m coming around on Edward as his official name so yay for that.

There's no other franchise like Metroid. I started my journey with Samus at 4. MP1 was one of the first games I ever played on Gamecube. Can't wait for Prime 4. Been waiting a long time.

Im kinda in the same boat. I loved her in Smash (always thought she was a dude until i read the trophy for her in Melee) and eventually my grandparents came home from a yard sale one day with a few gamecube games for me and my younger brother. One of those was Prime 2. Naturally i was excited af to play it but needless to say it scared the piss out of 10 year old me. But I was still enamored by what luttle i had played at the time. Eventually we got brawl and I still mained Samus (I still thank Subspace for giving people reasons to draw all the cute fanart of Samus with a Pikachu) but i still never made it past the opening moments of Prime 2, despite me and my brother only really playing the multiplayer of the game now. So one day i decided to push past my fears. And needless to say, ive been a fan ever since, with Prime 2 still being in my top 3 Metroid games To me, Samus represents facing down your fears, striving to surpass them in order to achieve something great

These games are so great. I could never stream visual novels on streams way too much reading. I feel like it would be hard for me to maintain an entertaining stream.

Part 1 of this was great for my gym trips. I'm sure this will be too. The motivation to someday be as hot as Edgey-poo is strong. Can't wait!

I remember seeing the commercials for KH1 on TV back in the day with the disney characters and Simple and Clean playing. I never ended up getting it till maybe 10 years ago and maaaaaaan I love it. AND THE MUSIC OH MY GOD Also having my favorite FF characters interacting with Sora and Co is still so cool ;o; Also it's been cool to see you go from having difficulty with the games to playing the hard modes, critical modes, etc. I played through KH 1 and 2 on stream and then stopped because the backseating at how bad I was at the hard fights just got to me. It's been years and I still haven't played BBS because I don't want those people back. While I am burnt out on streaming, it's super fun to see what aspects other people engage with, such as some people getting super attached to Axel =p I feel like a lot of people see the games as cringey because of the disney aspect or the convoluted story, but honestly, those endear me to it. How can you be upset at being able to fight alongside Auron and Donald Duck????

Hmm.. content creator/streamer who simps hard for Axel and Terra claims KH2 and BBS as her 2 favourites, I wonder why? 😂 But in all seriousness, I really enjoy your streams and hearing about how you're doing in your personal life, whether it be on stream or here. See you in stream again soon 😊

I've been with the KH series since the very first one. I'm pretty sure I graduated the same year it was released so it came out at a time where I was much older than what most of the fandom was at the time. I love pretty much every game. I will say that the GBA version of Chain of Memories is actually the better version. It was very much clearly designed around 2D sprites so when they did the PS2 version of the game a lot of the charm was kinda lost with the 3D characters. I do love that SquareEnix made the effort to "remake" the game with update graphics, but I feel it's mixed reception is pretty warranted. It is definitely worth trying at least once.

Following your KH journey has been so fun! Even though you've played up to KH3 by now (save the DS games and GBA CoM), it's great to hear the games have become a source of comfort and healing for you, especially after your first experiences! I also hopped on the bandwagon at (arguably) the worst timing-the original release of Dream Drop Distance XD-but I've enjoyed the games a lot too despite all the moving parts lol It's nice seeing a very fresh perspective on the series, since many creators out there have actually grown up with the games and thus have bias. Your experiences and memories are just as valid as theirs, I think ❤

Amazing video buddy, KH franchise is such a incredible journey going threw the series I been playing it since its first introduction on the PS2 back in 2002 and ever since then I became a fan of it and that’s one of the main reason I also got into Final Fantasy games as well cause of the crossover between the two❤️❤️👍

You are the queen of real talk! That homework/bed analogy really hits in a way I wasn't expecting. It's crazy how associating things can really mess with how you view something. There are certain parts of video game songs that remind me of myself (or my brand, whatever that is) and it just weirds me out. It's always so hard to know what the right thing is to do when it comes to banning on Twitch. I've had to ban somebody who donated like $2k in bits and gift subs because they thought they deserved special treatment for that. I've also banned for excessive bathroom humor, which kinda sounds hypocritical but I guess even I have my limits! The harder ones to figure out what to do are people who are just sort of generally annoying, but not out of any intended harm. Like I have one person who, in the last 3 months has asked me 5 times if I've seen the movie "The Crow" and 4 times if I liked Linkin Park. And I've lost count of how many times they've asked me about the WWE. It's like a bingo card with 3 squares that gets filled out every other week. But I don't think they mean any real harm by it, so it's like I don't know. I'm also mindful of the possibility that it might be irritating to other chatters, and for all I know, it's a troll who's trying to deliberately drive everybody else away because they "know" I won't do anything about it. I might have to step up, I don't know. But people say it's an easy job, it really isn't.
