    Got one this weekend for my rxv after my powerwise qe died. This thing is awesome. I believe I got 20% more run time from my cart. I have a lift with 23" off-road tires and went on a 8+ mile run at full throttle on dirt roads with a passenger and still had 1/2 batt life left. Before I would have been at 1/4 or less. I'm very happy.

      Hi, Rob! We're so glad to hear that Summit II was the upgrade for you that we expected it to be! We had the same experience when it was released. Cheers!

    I have a summit II series charger for my Yamaha golf cart. There is a solid red light with a green, blinking light. What does that mean? Can you help, it does start charging with the yellow light blinking and after 20 minutes it goes to the solid red with the blinking green.

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching, Alex! The fault codes list shows the condition you describe as "Maximum Voltage Met". This usually occurs when charging very low batteries after storage or down time or if there is a bad cell or battery in there somewhere, stopping the charger from finishing its cycle. We recommend a load test on the batteries. th-cam.com/video/NsUkLCTWSnQ/w-d-xo.html

    My summit 30600 set to 48v trojan pack, has blue light & then blinking yellow, later fast blinking yellow, then later solid yellow, then it just sits there forever never getting to the green finished light : ch'd batt pack voltage w VOM reads 60v? ... any idea? thanks. ALSO you might do a vid on how to use and connect to the Lester App w smart phone, can't find serial # app wants? Not sure if demo's are live or just for show ? Really need an app vid on youtube. THANKS. InventPeaceNotWar

      Thanks for watching! Usually, when we've run into this issue, it's been a battery with a bad cell that's showing up as what we refer to as "phantom power". So, it looks like it's good on a voltmeter, but a load test may show the bad cell. This makes it so Summit can't finish its cycle. We can help with tech support for the app if you get in touch at Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934

    I have a 48 volt club car with an obc that’s failed. Would you replace the obc or the charger?

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! We recommend effectively replacing both with one item.. the Summit II charger in this video comes in the "On-Board" version to connect directly to batteries and control itself, allowing for storage charging and more that the Club Car OBC can't do! That version lives here: www.golfcartgarage.com/on-board-36-48-volt-golf-cart-battery-charger-lester-36v-48v/ Give us a call at (800) 401-2934 if we can help!

      Thanks for watching! Yes, there's a video to show installation in the battery compartment and cover the specifics here: th-cam.com/video/qs5nl40I9Q0/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUoZ29sZiBjYXJ0IGdhcmFnZSBpbnN0YWxsIG9uYm9hcmQgY2hhcmdlcg%3D%3D

    Hi, is this charger compatible with the club car DS model? Have a 48 v version and been using the old manual charger but always seems a guessing game whether charged enough or not.

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Yes, this charger can work with ANY golf cart, it just depends on how you connect it. Depending on the year of your 48V Club Car, it may need to be wired directly to the batteries in an "on-board" mode to bypass your cart OBC, or combined with a bypass wiring kit, if you want to plug it into the cart. The onboard version and installation video are right here: www.golfcartgarage.com/on-board-36-48-volt-golf-cart-battery-charger-lester-36v-48v/

    Would like to see about getting one EZ-Go 36Volt?

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching! 36V EZGO's can have different receptacles, but the "D" shaped plug is most common. That charger is here: www.golfcartgarage.com/ezgo-txt-golf-cart-battery-charger-36-48-volt-lester-summit-ii/

    MY SUMMIT ll MY CHARGING STATIS YELLOW LIGHT IS FLASHING VERY FAST IS THIS NORMAL

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching, Hankster! Yes, Summit II blinks yellow during the first phase of charging. FIrst, slow, then fast. Once a cycle is complete, it will blink green in same way, then go solid green. The whole process generally takes about 6-8 hours... but can be different depending on the cart. If you have more questions, get in touch at Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934.

    Can the rubber in the 4 corners be removed so i can screw it down at the golf course.

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Larry! Yes, you can remove the rubber feet and bolt the charger anywhere you see fit for your use. That's part of what makes Summit II so versatile!

    Will this charge very low batteries that the old style charger would not?

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Greetings! Thanks for sending your inquiry to Golf Cart Garage. The threshold on the Summit II is considerably lower, so it will turn on in some instances where others will not. There is some voltage required, however to activate Summit II or any golf cart charger.

    so no specs just hype , does it desulfate etc? most chargers kill batteries not make them last.. just cause its efficient using power doesn't mean it truly works ..call me when you get 10 yrs out of lead acid batteries like i do. most chargers are a scam ... how many amps does it put out" to the batteries ... charge profiles""" explain? i need a giggle

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Michael! We tried to do a video on specs only... except, Dave kept falling asleep.
      But, we've got your specs covered! It can help to balance and desulfate. Output amperage is different depending on the voltage being charged. And, it uses algorithm based profiles for different battery types like AGM and Lithium. All the deep, technical, nerdy stuff can be found here: www.golfcartgarage.com/on-board-36-48-volt-golf-cart-battery-charger-lester-36v-48v/
