Thank you, if I pass back through Chennai I’d love to.. I tried to find a guide through Facebook but the groups I was posting in didn’t approve my post until I had already left. I appreciate the comment 🌟
Chennai is rated cheaper to live and safer than all other major cities less traffic and better transport like metro and suburbub trains which are less crowded. But it is hot most of the year . Visit fort museum for Chennai history and ise metro if you need it to get to places loke pondy bazaar or Kora food street etc .
I really liked the metro, it surprised me, reminded me of Dubai’s metro. I’ve spent very little time on mainland india as I love to be on Andaman and it was a stop over, it’s a bit intense but I enjoyed getting to experience it very much
I couldn’t believe the price I found for a room to have for a whole month. And compared to andaman it’s about 30% cheaper, I’ve been told it’s because of how much Andaman has to import
India now has the 3rd largest metro system in the world only after China and USA. Metros in India are really good. I don't know but many people say that metros in USA are not that good.
I think it could vary city to city.. certainly the metro system in Minneapolis was good, but my experience of it was pretty bad. On my other video about crossing the world I vlogged about the Chennai metro system in a tiny part. I thought it was amazing, clean.. and so safe, like I had to check my bags through a scanner just to get to the platform.. and military at the airport metro station.. felt safe.
Why is that? It’s easier and cheaper to get here than you think - I’ll post a video in a few days about Traveling across the world for £225 I don’t really have any intention at all of being in mainland India, I was in Chennai for a lay over.. I come to Andaman Islands, it’s an Indian territory (not a state of India, apparently) - (it’s also where North Sentinel island is) and I love this place, it’s all the good of India with none of the bad, but places like Delhi or Mumbai or to see the Taj Mahal, none of that really appeals to me, I just love remote islands.
I would love to just experience the regular Indian culture, not all the tourist destinations. Its currently out of my reach due to uni and having nobody willing to go places like that with me unfortunately @@scottympeace
Do you mean when the person got hit off the bike? or the military base? I just didn’t want to as I put my camera down and helped the lady up off the floor. It was like right in front of me.. if you mean the military base, they’re just generally off limits in most places I’ve been, and it was best to play it safe. The bases here on Andaman have no filming/photo signs
Actually in Tamil Nadu people speak Tamil and We say Vanakkam for greeting and Nandri for thank you.

You can Film everything . this isnt Uk. you are not going to jail for filming an accident in rest of the world.
