krazypenguin wiped the sweat from his brow. He felt that he had been in a good position to deal with the Northern BDRM rush, but the commander had suddenly ordered his squad to rush forward in their jeep. It wasn't his place to question and, frankly, he was happy to let someone else deal with the problem. They'd reached their new position a minute ago and he'd setup his Dragon on the roof. kp setup his Dragon and scanned towards the BDRMs now occupying the North West corner. He watched in horror as Three Badger's Dragon missile skimmed the top of the BDRM pushing the FO team on the hill and saw the small shapes of his colleagues disappear in a cloud of dust kicked up my automatic fire hitting their position. As the dust blew clear there was no movement. The range probably too long, but he started to line up a shot - someone had to do something. Just then, another dragon leapt out from the roof badger was on, but this time the missile didn't even reach its target, instead nosing over violently to smash into the dirt well before the vehicle. This was a nightmare. The radio crackled into life - new orders to cover the North East corner of the airfield. penguin swung his ATGM around on its tripod, nearly falling off the edge of the roof in the process. In the distance, far to the NE, he could see the clouds of dusty sand being kicked up by an approaching column of BTRs. His mouth and throat dried up - a mixture of the sand and fear, but mainly an intense feeling of pressure. So far, the Dragon teams hadn't done well and it seemed that the only thing that could stop the onrushing Soviet IFVs was him...
11:10 I think the target command only goes into effect after reaching the waypoint. For them to hold fire on the approach, you'd have to give another target arc order to the unit directly.
This setting is right around when the HMMWV was starting to enter service. So realistically, we would be seeing a mix of HMMWVs and their predecessor, the Vietnam-era MUTT. Edit: As for the Sheridan, Army brass knew it was inadequate for the role but its intended replacement was still in contracting and design phase (the AGS competition which would eventually result in the (all-too) brief introduction of the M8 Buford.
Overall I would say that this turn was inconclusive and based on the time restrictions I would say inconclusive turns don't favor the Soviet player in this scenario.
When every shot has to count... Dragon
If you believe its reliable we made very different experiences with the Dragon system man
@ it was an attempt at sarcasm.
I fucking laughed so hard I choked at the Dragon

It's a shame Sheridans aren't in game because this battle seems woefully lopsided
Lets be real, they'd drop HMMVs atleast for ANY mobility.
@@mimir4965I do believe this is before the humvee entered service
Are there any plans to add them at some point? I feel like there is little reason for it not to be added.

Humvees entered production in 1985. This scenario is 1980. So... just the Mutts. Which I actually have quite a few of.
Revenge mortar coming in

We'll have to see!
What a terrible turn of events
Been forever since i last played but aren't there mutt models with 50s in game?
I don't think so. They'd would be pretty useful here!
