Now that I rewatched the laydown, i truly believe that if Farnes didnt call the clock, Diaz wouldnt have been able to lay it down so easily. The second Diaz moved his hands from his chips to his cards showing willingness to lay it down, Farnes calls the clock hoping he'd change his mind. This just made Diaz more sure the laydown is correct

For so many players that’s a 10 second tank and then a call, with ICM pressure and an amount of leveling that we don’t have all of the context for, this fold is insanely impressive

It was the correct lay down since in tournaments you never call off your stack to just chop. U never put your tournament life on a possible chop, only because you might lose. Unless you have the nuts with a straight for both and you cannot be beat. It's actually not THAT great of a fold when you consider the next player out loses lots of money due to the pay jump. No one is bluffing in that spot when there are many short stacks that are destined for the lower place money. If Diaz calls and is wrong he loses hundreds of thousands of dollars in real money. The best Diaz can hope for in that spot is a chop and even that is being optimistic.

Well, actually Diaz was clearly trying to display different kinds of behavior trying to induce something he could use to make a read of Farnes. First he took a handful of chips gesturing towards the pot as if to call while looking at Farnes which generated no reaction. Then he looked at his cards, lifted them and made the type of gestures that someone does just prior to tossing the cards in, then Farnes called the clock. Maybe that was just the read Diaz was waiting for. That fold at the end is bananas. In general, in those spots I'm just like, well, if he has KK or KQ I lose lol. But in this case with the other dude's 90 IQ playing weak and then jamming, there's a slim chance I could get away from the hand, too, depending on how well I knew the guy.
    Probably not, tho.
Bravo, Diaz. You are next level my friend.

I think Diaz says “I’m an idiot” there because you’re only really getting called by a queen which is a chop so why even bet in the first place. Maybe you get called by AK I suppose by it’s unlikely when you’re playing against high level players.

If they check-checked the flop, I think he has two value bets with a pair of kings or better. He can be called by any pairs and Ace-Highs that don't block bluffs.

Amazing fold. One of the best I have ever seen. The sigh and all-in is a classic monster hand. But than Diaz would have folded earlier so it was not that simple. He won $115.000 I think with that fold. Could be proud of himself. Amazing stuff!

I really think they need to add a shot clock not just because I don’t like the tanking but if you’re trying to get people who don’t really play poker to watch they are not gonna watch a hand that takes 15 minutes
Of course there are tough spots and there souls of course be time extensions given out but some of these guys are tanking in every street
