This has got to be the most thorough and detailed DYI video on TH-cam. I totally love it, especially the references to the materials used, the simplicity/low cost of this project and the beauty of the final product. Hats off to you Isaac Alexander! You are an inspiration for us! Thank you very much indeed!
The master of holiday DIY has officially declared the beginning of Christmas 2023! Isaac, I love your interpretation of this iconic Christmas symbol! ❤️ 💚 The elements you add greatly enhance your nutcracker soldier and give it such a sense of distinction among all other DIY versions I’ve seen. You’ve created an impressive, truly beautiful work of art! As always, your attention to detail is impeccable! 👏 Thanks for getting “the hap-happiest season of all” started with such a wonderful tutorial! I can’t wait to see all of this year’s Isaac Alexander DIY Christmas projects! 🎄
I'm in love❤. I have seen a lot of different nutcracker tutorials and this by far is the best and most well made one. Absolutely brilliant Issac, your talent is unmatched.
You’re adorable, building nutcrackers and writing children’s books. I’m going to follow your directions and make this, thanks for being so clear and making a great tutorial with FREE plans!
Approximately how much did it cost you to make it? I was hoping he'd include that info at the beginning of end of the tutorial, but he didn't. I know cost varies from place to place, but it's still nice to know in advance before setting out to do something like this, so that's why I ask. 🤶
Bonsoir Isaac, vraiment encore une merveille réalisée par cette créativité que vous avez, merci beaucoup de nous faire vivre votre génie, vivement la suite. Respect.
This is fantastic! You're very creative and talented. I watch all your videos and you design the best stuff. You make your tutorials easy to follow, you suggest options and I really appreciate that you provide links to all that's needed to make the projects! On top of that, none are overly complex to build. You inspire me!
Issac, I absolutely LOVE this!!! He looks AMAZING! This is one of my favorite things that you’ve done!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful tutorial!!
Wow. Another outstanding, beautifully explained tutorial. He looks so professionally done. You'd easily pay hundreds for something that looks half as nice. You outdid yourself on this one. Love how secure everything is. No worries about him coming apart or degrading. Also-PUPPY!
@IsaacAlexanderDIY I have some leftover pvc in my garage, I think will work for a smaller version 🤔 The big guy will have to wait until next year when we have our new home.
I just know come December you'll find Clara pirouetting into your front yard cause this Nutcracker looks stunning. the finishing details, the sparkle in the sun! an absolute feat Isaac!!
❤🎉 Bravo, Issac is always a pleasure seeing your DIYs an your Awesome ideas. I've been watching you for awhile now. Here's an idea, have you thought of making a Detailed Book of all of your Tutorials an make a book. I would so Buy it. Thank you for having a step by step.
Thank you so much, Ashley, I appreciate your kind comment. I’m actually working on my second children’s book that will revolve around my Halloween creations.
hands down the most informative and detailed instructions on youtube. I've watch so many tutorials to try and make one but i'm always left wondering how to complete various parts. With ur tutorial I can actually do this!!!! yay. thanks so much
Isaac, dude, you out did yourself this time. I love all your projects. Some of them are, well, I'll get around to them now that my storage building/workshop is finished, however this will be 1 of my priority projects from you that will be built. I can build 4 of these nutcrackers...2 for the front porch on my house & 2 for my front porch on building next door....1 red, 1 green, 1 blue & other color to be determined later. Awesome job as always.
@IsaacAlexanderDIY yes, it is done....finally. Now, I get to start to clean out the garage & start on DIY projects in January. I'm looking forward to your next awesome tutorial
You should make a nutcracker for every holiday. You made Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving. Now you need Valentines day, St. Patrick's day, Easter, 4th of July ect.. Then put them all together for a nutcracker army pic. That would be so cute.
This is awesome - I want to make this one! Ok you need to use rubber plunger tips cut in half from $tree for the shoes. Dixie cups will smash. Saw this on the $tree girls nutcracker - she used poster board -all that work and it will fall apart in one season!
Awesome! I've watched several different videos and decided to combine the best features. Use a plunger cut in half for the shoe tips - will last longer. Use landscaping square timbers - and the pvc legs will fit snug on them - no wiggle. Instead of drilling this 1" PVC for the shoulders - I like the girl that used screws on the body and made key holes in the arm and you just slide them on and off. I also like putting a bend in the arms and attaching a drum made out of 5 gallon paint buckets or 2 gallon. Pizza pans, hair, and ornaments from $ tree.
Best tutorial I've seen for a nutcracker!! I had already started making mine before I saw this and it helped solidify a few things for me. I did use my Scan-N-Cut to cut out vinyl for the face and it looked so much better than me trying to paint it myself. Thanks!!
This is absolutely beautiful I love it I’m so glad I just found your channel I love diy’s I do some crafting I love it I will be watching for more videos
Thanks for the detailed video. I am 64 years old and made my first Nutcracker and it turned out great. Everybody loves it and wants me to build them one. I also have made some of your Halloween props and they turned out great. When time allows make a video on some type of pirate of the Caribbean with skeletons. You are doing a great job keep it up.
Omgosh I just found your channel and have been binging your videos and saw this pop up! I like the way you did the arms this year and thank you for uploading the face.
At 3 am in the morning I’m watching this tutorial and can’t look away. I think it’s something my son and I can do together with such detailed descriptions. I only hope I can get the sonotube. Do you have an alternative suggestion if not ? Thank you so thorough.
Finally! The perfect video for a giant nutcracker. We’ve been looking for a giant nutcracker prop for our nutcracker Christmas theme. This is the best we’ve found.
