Definitely recommend self reviews!! Especially to interns, 1st years in accounting. Even I, yes an experienced accountant, can make mistakes/typos that can be caught with self reviews. I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received on my work from managers, directors because a self review was performed and they were able to concentrate on other work. I definitely need to work on 1 & 4. For #1, it's being present. When someone speaks, I try to listen, but while I'm listening, I'm also thinking of the past and future at the same time. I've also had trouble listening/understanding fast talkers. For #4, I care way too much about what others think. For instance, I often think "what if this person looks at me like a beginner" or "I may just be bothering this person if I include him/her on this email"

Please spend a little bit of time practicing your material, because your information and personality are very good but the constant edits are hideously distracting.
