    Great job explaining the process! I wish I would have watched this 4 years ago. Thank you! Have you considered doing an updated version of this? Also include challenges during Covid?

    I definitely agree, some people love it some people dislike it and then there's being in the middle. I definitely consider myself being in the middle. I like understanding the process but there are other aspects of the job that I enjoy more. This is such a great video thank you!

    I am currently at 2nd year of my master and got a bit lost as I am getting to a point of directing myself to either accounting firms or financial firms, your video is super helpful for me!
    Besides you're also pretty and fashionable, I hopt to find friends like you in my future jobs as people often tend to think we are boring and non-stylish haha.
    Keep it up

    I will be heading to business school to study accounting and I absolutely love how you explained everything so clearly in this video. I wish I could like this video more than once! Could you do a video about your experiences in college and useful school supplies, books etc that helped you succeed? I am also curious about your system of notetaking in college and any helpful study tips that would be useful for all of us heading back to school soon. Great videos!

    I was waiting for when Juicy was going to pop in!! Haha and thanks for sharing Stephie, there's not many that talk about this at such a down to earth level! And that's so funny, I'm really passionate about the business processes too - I think that was the only thing I talked about when I did my grad interview.

    Does external audit work closely with the sox compliance team for a public company, like what controls to focus on? Also does the companies sox team perform test of controls as well as the external audit team do they re-perform those test as well? Thanks for anyone who can provide an answer

    When you worked in the big 4, were all of the audits done in teams? Or did you ever have to go to the client alone? I have a friend who works in audit (not big 4) and she does most of her audits completely alone, and travels alone 95% of the time.

    • @WithStephie
      @WithStephie  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      problemz2solve almost all the time I was in a team at the Big 4. I had 1 small private client one summer that I did on my own (manager wasn't there everyday) for a couple of weeks.

    • @WithStephie
      @WithStephie  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      problemz2solve I've traveled by myself a handful of times at my mid tier firm for a few clients but most of the time work in teams too.

    Question is do firms drug test you ? Have your's or anyone have had a screen test before taking an internship or a job offer at an accounting firm. This just for research purposes .

    • @WithStephie
      @WithStephie  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LB ProEdit I've never seen drug testing at any of the firm's I've worked for and didn't need to do one to start any job. Asking for a friend? Jk jk 😁
