The glittery paint adds interest to the art piece- though it makes it harder to scan. Think of Kaiteki Art for example- she uses a TON of glittery and shimmery paint and it in no way detracts from her work. I think it might be a more western perspective to see it as lessening the seriousness of an art piece?
I don’t know if it’s western only or not - I know that my teachers in the US definitely wouldn’t approve! But I asked one teacher here if I could use it and he was like, yeah sure. I agree about scanning! I only use it when like I am experimenting / the painting is “just for me” and not something I’m trying to monetize. I’ll check out that artist!
beautiful sketchbook, i really love your color combos!
Thank you so much! I've really been working on my color combos for the last few years. And thanks for watching and commenting :)
These are very really cute . I love the vibe of ur art style 😍
Thanks so much for watching! It means a lot to me :)
Also, "clumpy" looks still pretty and interesting!
Thank you! I sometimes like it too. think but I always worry about “reproduction” if a painting goes to print. I get ahead of myself!
your sketchbook looks so cool!! you’re so creative 🥹🥹 really inspired me! thank you! ❤
Thanks so much for your kind words! I’ve found the more I doodle and draw the more I find new ideas! So I’m glad it inspired you!

nice artblog, you got my subscription. Best regards.
Thanks so much! I’ll do my best to keep your sub! But I’m still figuring it allllll out. Thanks for commenting :)
@@HannahMorenDraws, oh just have fun. Don't worry about about subs or likes, just keep painting and grow as an artist. Best wishes in your journey.
@@purehermit1721 thanks for the reminder. It’s easy to get caught up in the analytics machine and forget why you’re making in the first place :)
a bunch of the stuff you said you didnt like, were stuff i liked.
Sometimes I’m too hard on my own work. I’ll go back to old sketches or doodles and be like, “hey this was actually good.” I just need distance.
just realized you would be a perfect illustrator for a Kelly Link book! (check out White Cat, Black Dog)
So kind of you to say! I just looked it up and the cover is gorgeous. I wish someday!
