At this point, I’m starting to think Doug secretly works for Konami and is controlling his UR rates
he is, didn't you hear his sly comment to mbt about how he thinks hes gonna pull better this episode? then the first pack (the free pack) mbt pulls barron, it is confirmed that doug has connections to the developers.
Is this a joke? He literally does work for konami lol. The early box openings and core set reveals. Im sure konami could allow his account to make better draws

@@jshtng78 why not? Its free advertising for master duel. It helps that Konami doesn't like people like Joseph who use third party simulators. Konami famously fired cimoo so promoting players who work for them and don't speak out helps marketing master duel
@@yugh2 Doug doesn't work for Konami, it's just sponsorship deals to open sets early etc. happens across majority of tcgs it's not that deep that he works for them lol

You can almost feel the borrel pack trying to carry Doug every time he gets it. Its like the pack is rooting for him. Also Doug seems to be benefitting from the "newer account" draw luck. Bet if he goes to his main he wont get anything good

I've been watching old master roulette videos and I realized that Doug is really good at under hyping his pulls and MBT is really good at over hyping his pulls.
Doug can pull an entire constructed deck and still say he's missing that one card which might cost him the duel while MBT can pull jelly cannon then say it's joever and ask how Doug can out it or something.

Doug, buddy, there isn't a single extra deck "Rokket" monster. That's the entire idea of the deck, the main decks are Rokkets and extra decks are Borrels. Squib Draw can never pop a blue card.

That was so exciting! The comment about the difference of effort to win with a meta vs rogue really struck a cord as well.
3:20 I know a guy that whines about his dice for the first 50% of any game we play, then for the latter 50% he rolls PERFECTION until the game is over.

Doug's throw at the end didn't matter use the trap sooner get negated by the counter trap instead of the draw spell getting negated
Doug could have FFV’d the turn MBT set the counter trap so MBT couldn’t respond with it.
If you're gonna whine about every single pack being unplayable maybe just make the desperate lowtier unworkable ones let you craft like, 3 C, 3 R, 2 SR and a UR so you can probably get a base engine, or the 3 UR base monster if its like, Dark Magician/Blue Eyes the decks entirely centered around.
MBT's account definitely got nerfed with its pulls. Though his ability to read cards is a buff in itself.

The weeks into 2024 and Doug still hasn't learned to read ALL of his cards.
I had a lot of fun watching the episode even if there were miss plays (honestly i feel the comments can sometimes be a little too critical when it comes to that).
This was a great episode. The grind was tense!
Borreload eXcharge is so bad. Honestly, I'm not sure what they were thinking with it. Even borrelguard seems good im comparison.
Also, I hate it's name. Every other Borreload has a name relating to some kind of theme. Savage, Furious, Riot. So then why isn't eXcharge called Borreload Rampage dragon?
It even came out in Rising rampage, just like how Savage came out in Savage Strike.
Im waiting for yugitubers to realise how insane Rokkets, Dragunities and Resonators packs really are in sealed
like sure, theres a need for high rarity cards, but in a world where you dont get any but you do get all of the N/R guys, you get so much value and synergy with other packs that it really is no brainer to choose them but for some reason everyone is running away from them

Honestly, pronouncing tsukuyomi like a Japanese speaker is much easier than pronouncing Baronne like a French speaker, for an English speaker.

This is like the whole point of sealed. One game a deck will have its godly setup and it will look unbeatable. then the next game, the other deck will do the same. Mbt just went into the game with the underdog mindset unnecessarily.

Doing some Bad Math (tm), it looks like if you have a set of 4 cards with no holo, the chance of drawing two of the same card out of the pack would be somewhere around 0.123%. Certainly not very likely - but in a series where Dzeef and MBT have collectively pulled 1500+ packs, not terribly shocking to see it a few times.
