It's one of the best hunt videos I've seen. Captured the moments and memories. I've hunted that area for 35 years. 4 generations have enjoyed that hunt. You're doing it right, refreshing to see. Thanks for sharing.
@@russpoppe7016 thanks for the compliments, It sure is a cool place and I am sure looking forward to going back there again. 4 generations is quite the accomplishment, sounds like the tradition is alive and well in your family too.
This entire video deplicts how hunting should be with the comraderie between family and friend's combined with passing of the torch per say with getting the kid's involved and them being successful as well. Then to finish it off by secretly doing for your buddy what you did so he would have a trophy from his very first big game animal was absolutely incredible. . Great video and hunt everyone involved and congrats. May God bless you with many more safe and successful years to come...
Three things I saw in this video. 1st -You all got great deer. 2nd- you secretly had the cape done 3rd- you let you boy find deer and taught him safety in the field. Well done and definitely subscribed.
I’ve hunted the panhandle for elk and deer and I’ve seen tons and tons of deer sign and only seen 2 does lol. We were mostly hunting elk but man those whitetail deer are like ghosts up north. I’m a Nevada born hunter so I’m used to open country and glassing muleys. I would sure like to get a whitetail one day. Good luck to you this year sir
@@Lexidezi225 thanks, good luck to you too. It's definitely thicker than mule deer county. I grew up hunting blacktail and mule deer. It took me 3 seasons for Idaho whitetail just to get a decent buck. I've learned you can't hunt these blacktail like mule deer.
@@roymustang9590 you know better than to ask another Hunter that question 😂. I wouldn't expect you to tell me where you hunt either. Hope u understand.

Good work!! You and your boy are making lifelong memories that will hopefully push him to enjoy life and hunt.
Those model 70 lights are so nice. I loved the one I had
@@landonhardt7180 I hear ya
Awesome trip. I love hunting that area. Over the years I've shot a few nice deer in there. I've shot some small ones too.
It’s certainly a fun trip! Target rich environment!
I enjoyed this headed to Idaho this year hopefully I can knock down a nice whitetail
Right on, best of luck to you! We will be back as well!
