Some of my favorite hunts and bucks were not my biggest but were taken after a long hunt. Something really satisfying about it. Thanks for sharing again!
Dude, once again, I love your videos and channel! The one buck was absolutely huge, but the buck you got is really nice and would have made me VERY happy. I know you are happy and grateful as well. Congrats!
Good buck. And great tough hunt. Makes it feel even better. Glad to see the 300WSM eat. I built a 300wsm and must have watched you rifle build video a dozen times. I tried the 200gr ELDX and now I’m trying 175gr LRX.
Great job man. I do quite a bit of solo hunting myself and understand how hard it is to film it on your own. Last year was my first attempt at the Idaho whitetail hunt and I sure learned a lot. Ended up with a doe on the last day I could hunt but did see some bucks along the way. I’ll definitely be back at it this year. I hunt, glass and shoot with very similar set up. Keep it up! Great video and content. I feel like all your videos are good, but this one seems like you told a better story with the narration and camera work. Also, congratulations on the buck. I think those timber whitetails are so underrated. If I could only hunt one animal in one environment for the rest of my life it would definitely be those nasty timber whitetail bucks. Keep up the good work and thanks for the positive representation of our community.
Nice shooting and nice buck. You hunted hard and were rewarded! We got two muleys out of our camp this year, both 3x2. My son had an opportunity on a really tall 3 point . He missed 2 shots at 250 yards. Turns out that deer was shot at 10 or 11 times that morning by several different neighbors. Nobody harvested him. He was seen cruising that afternoon in good condition so I assume he lived. So many people packed into private and state land made it real tough. There was probably less people hunting all the public that your family hunts.
Thank you and congrats on getting two mule deer bucks to camp. That’s unfortunate your son couldn’t get it done. No one likes the feeling of missing. I was there for 1.5 days. Wish I had more time to hunt up there. Maybe this year.
Thats some cold slippery hard hunting. You put the work in on this one. Glad to see you still have and use the 300wsm. You kept getting smaller and smaller calibers. Thought this year you were going to pull out a handloaded 22lr and say you took the deer at 762 yards😂 (sarcasm) The deer may be smaller than you'd like, but its still good eating, and im happy for you.
Thank you. Appreciate you still watching my videos all these years. My WSM is my favorite big game rifle. Primers are hard to come by so I try not to shoot it too much.
@@DMOUA_OUTDOORS Ya its been a ride. Ive seen you on a lot of great hunts. The happiest ive seen you is when i seen you hunt with your wife. Shes come a long way. Loved that 400+ yard shot on that mulie deer that she took with the 243. I was like dang, that girl can shoot! Seen other members of your family that youve taken out to hunt and harvest deer to. Family that hunts together stays together. Ya i agree the 300wsm is a fantastic big game harvester. Id love to make a light skeletalized mountain rifle out of one. You might want to carry it more with Wa state putting grizz back in the cascades though.

I drew a white tail rut tag this year. I’m curious when you were experiencing the rut in full action?
Congrats on your last day buck. Big or small they’re all trophies and unforgettable memories.
