gorgeous little coupe, still turns my head when i see one - the 2004 refresh looks even better. and its reliable and relatively practical too! shame hatchback coupes are dead, i mean dont get me wrong most of them were cheap feeling and noisy vehicles anyway but they looked amazing!
The older i get the more i like the sports coupe, not as a daily driver but just something to drive around town in, has a panoramic roof, decent size cargo area, and the same interior as the other w203s but can be had really cheaply
I didn't like them when they 1st released But now I have had 2 of the c230ks as daily drivers. 1st was totalled at 245k miles. They are fun and reliable
I like 3-door hatchbacks, and I'd really love to own one. But I have found that this is the type of car mainly given to daughters of wealthy families as a graduation present and driven by college coeds. To me it carries the same stigma as the Golf Cabrio and the Hyundai Veloster. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer of them on the market, and the mileage is getting more and more into low reliabitlity territory.
i also got one at 160K miles for 4 grand as my first car and i just blacked it out. mines a manual transmission it’s honestly so fun for how cheap it was. love the way it feels and looks and mines also decently loud old owner took real good care of it bc still running beautifully and haven’t had a problem yet
Thats dope! What kind of work did it need? I just bought a 2002 c230 kompressor with 110k on the dash for 1850! I was in a 04, 325xi bmw before so the change to a benz is super new to me! This all happened earlier this week and just took my first long...er drivers from Chicago to Milwaukee & she drover like a beauty.. I feel like definitely got my money's worth at that because its was very well kept
$25k is crazy low now that I think about it. But it was 2002 money so still kind of expensive but a fully loaded accord was around that price. Just get the Benz lol
I still have mine 130,000 miles and i got it for free cause it didn’t run all i did was put gas in it and a battery gas gauge don’t work i just get gas every 200 miles

I had a 1997 C230 Kompressor. Loved that car, 195 bhp and it was so reliable.
Mercedes C230 Kompressor wagon is my favorite. The desing is beautiful, reliable car and comfortable
The 203 coupe was an interesting design experiment but the wagon was a réussite
best cheap small benz. really fun to drive and drift in the snow. 220cdi 3.6l/100km hwy was the best fuel mileage i got
