3:00 is by far the best, and probably the coolest moment that has ever happened in a Mortal Kombat game ever. The story for this game is practically it's own movie, and was by far the most entertaining thing I have ever seen for a fighting game.
Just thinking about it give me chills. I almost felt like crying while watching that scene. It's so emotional and the music in the background... The story(but also the ending) may not be so epic... But this scene with all the different timelines... It's epic. I can't think any other word than "perfection".

I was SO FUCKING PISSED when I saw Raiden had picked up that damn amulet again, seeing that multi-flashback and realizing what was happening was so fucking relieving.
Still doesn't make sense to me, though. Nothing in the past gave us damn near anything to go on about what the Amulet does. Least of all warping the mind. Everything pointed to the tainted Jinsei being the reason Raiden went insane at the end of X.
Dude, I can't watch the "different timelines" scene without feeling like a little girl. I swear to god this scene gets me every fucking time I watch it. They really nailed this scene. It's so emotional and epic... and the background music is just perfect. By far the best scene in all MK games.
Well... Now Liu Kang is a Elemental God and Raiden is just... mortal. I don't think this is actually what the writers meant to do with the whole Kronika's "New Era" plan, but still worked... In a way.
What's interesting is them avoiding to fight she saw that coming. Did she miss this one part of the timeline? Or was she just too proud of her own work she forgot that Fire Lord Liu is equal to her? My head hurts.
The only think that would make it better is if we could see his long, flowing hair like in Deception. It would really drive home the Thunder God image.

I still think making Sub Zero’s Kuai Liang skin finally look good in a game is the best thing they’ve accomplished. The game itself is awesome, but not as much as the Kuai Liang skin lol

Not sure if y'all noticed, but the flashback shows a small reference to MK vs DC. The background shows floating rubble and, if you remember, that's right after Raiden goes berserk with rage and fights Shang Tsung. Then Liu Lang says "Shang Tsung is not the enemy this time."
Raiden is like reverse Gandalf. "This item would be too powerful in the wrong hands. I, one of the strongest characters in the story, should hold onto it."

I love that you guys had the same reaction to the multiple timeline reveal as I did. You all thought it was badass and insane. I was literally at the edge of my seat when that blue Lui Kang showed up and I had goosebumps as that orchestral soundtrack picked up the pace with each timeline blending into the next.
Like I said in the last videos comments, the multiple timeline cutscene is easily the best part of MK11's story. It ties in the entire Mortal Kombat series together, and in a way that actually allows Kronika to have influenced those events. It's a very well-written scene and it still gives me goosebumps.
What if Geras sunk deep enough into the Sea of Blood that he got to the point where the pressure from the depth crushes him and his body parts float back to the top. Maybe he might have a chance of making it out of the Sea of Blood.
Love how geras didnt do any time shit, sand shit, nothing. He just kinda sat there staring into nothingness, waiting for taiden to drop the chain, drop the anchor, and wait for the chain to catch up to him.
At 15:00 you see Scorpion in the background fighting but it's Hanzo Hisashi's model. The one that died from D'Vorah. I'm guessing the creators made a last minute decision to kill him off and replace him with OG Scorpion.

In the midst of his fury, Raiden is struck with a horrific discovery. One that shakes the lesser god to his core. As if to confirm his fears, Kronika appears for no other reason than to demonstrate to him the futility of his efforts. Raiden decides to flip the bird to the ancient being, steeling himself the the events to come. With everyone set for the upcoming battle, uncertainy hangs heavily in the air. I agree it's one of the better scenes in MK11 which shows MK throughout it's history. This is why this might very well be the last MK game for awhile.

It feels like this past storyline is the redemption of Johnny Cage and Liu Kang, making them both more relatable.

After some aggressive self-therapy, Hanzo "Scorpion" Hasashi came down with a sudden case of being killed at the stingers of that spooky yet alluring D'vorah. What a prankster. Before closing his eyes for good (for the second time) the grandmaster convinces Past!Scorpion to try and move on; seeking peace within the confines of the newly resurrected Shirai Ryu and aiding the earthrealmers in their quest to defeat Kronika. Unfortunately, his presence isn't well received by the others, especially Raiden.
Evidently, the thunder god has had just about enough of this Wibbly-Wobbily Timey-time bullshit and decides for a more hands on approach to saving the cosmos.After torturing the Specter for information, like all good guys do, Raiden finds himself in combat with his protege, Lui Kang. In the midst of his fury, Raiden is struck with a horrific discovery. One that shakes the lesser god to his core. As if to confirm his fears, Kronika appears for no other reason than to demonstrate to him the futility of his efforts.
Raiden decides to flip the bird to the ancient being, steeling himself the the events to come. With everyone set for the upcoming battle, uncertainy hangs heavily in the air. Can Raiden lead the newly formed realm alliance to victory? Will any of them survive to tell their kids of the hype shit that happens. Tune in and find out.
