Awesome video and adventure!! The scenery was unbelievable. wish I could ride in an area like that. maybe someday. I have a 22' Trail and have put 31,000 miles(50,000 km) so far on it. Still runs like a little tank! Happy Trails and Thanks for All the work that goes into making these vids!!
I bought a 1970 ct90, and retrofitted a 1985 atc 110 engine with the hi/low to fit and work with the lights. Only drawback was pullstart not kick. The act125m is even better.
This is the best video I’ve ever seen on the trail 125 and the Grom. I own a 22 Grom and a 24 trail 125. I use them both off-road. Keep the videos coming. My new favorite channel!
Wow such a great work ! The CT125 is of course great, but the Grom's driving performance really stood out. I think Honda must be happy with the good publicity.😆
Oh wow! I always wondered what the limits of my new Trail 125 (yellow) would be and now I don't need to actually have to find out myself! Since I am near 70, what would hurt a Gen Z'er would kill me dead on every turn of those trails. I do think had you got a bigger sprocket on the back, and knobby tires, maybe some suspension mods the Trail would have done better, especially the hill climbs. Love this channel, now subscribed. Keep on truckin Canada!
Here's a suggestion for all CT125 riders. Take the kickstarter off and throw it into a tailbag or other convenient place on the bike. That will get it out of the way of your feet. Then if you should ever need to use, just slip it back on, finger tighten the retaining bolt, and start your bike with it. That's what I have done, as I just couldn't see any reason to keep it on the bike while fighting to keep my feet off of it while bouncing around off road.
Wow, Canada is beautiful this time of year. Envious of those trials and epic views, hopefully i can visit and experience them myself one day. Great video of your 'little' adventure. Leef lang en gelukkig.
Cracking video, the best I've seen about pushing the CT and finding its capabilities, I'm really impressed you did that on stock tyres 😎. Also just a generally great piece of entertainment. You've got an instant subscribe from me 😊
Awesome Adventure! You really can rip it up on small motos buddy! I am looking forward to seeing the next adventure you get yourself into on 2 wheels...
I had one .. The honda ct125.. Very very underpowered. Honda screwed up by not keeping the hi/lo tranny. So i put a 60 tooth rear sprocket on. Then you coukd ride it in the woods. Street ? Forget it. Sold it. Bought a TW200
@rangeroadmoto ... yes. And the seat killed me. The 60 tooth rear sprocket made it fun , for walking speeds in the woods. Could literally climb a tree. But that seat was killer.
man... I thought we had some intense hill climbs where I live.. I mean we got a few I wouldn't even attempt but those are something else. Just straight up the hill.
Not the right kind of trail for this bike. Built more for dirt roads/ forest trails with no major incline. Tire and power mods done on this bike can improve its abilities, though. Depends on what you want to use it for..... Great video! What tires on on your bike?
Really odd to have a bike made for at least some off road that won't let you disable the ABS. Wonder how that slipped through the cracks? Still, looks like an adventure!
Does the Grom have a traditional clutch? It seems to do well too. I'm restoring an old 125 RV Suzuki Van Van. I think that will be a similar bit if fun.
I know you're pushing this bike way beyond what it's really intended for, but ABS you can't turn off on a bike with "Trail" in the name still feels catastrophically stupid to me.
@@tvh300 I looked it up and yeah it seems like you can just pull the fuse, people say it doesn't cause any other problems. Still stupid to have to do it that way though.
What an episode, just wow in every way. More please❤ and i wouldn't mind it being longer. Keep it coming
Thank you so much! This is one of the longest videos I’ve made and I was worried it might be TOO long, so I am glad to hear that feedback

That’s awesome! Thats a of miles in two years on a smaller bike!
This was SO rad. Now I want a Trail 125!
Had mine 3 days. Worth it bro. I take the side road into town and dont regret it at all because its a better road for riding on anyway.
Been keeping an eye out for a 110 with the hi low range box. Good video!
That’s a very Good choice!

Yeehaww incredible video Blake!! That was such a fun weekend hahah we Goda do it again… maybe on the XL175 eh 😜
Love that you told Blake he was going to go over the handlebars, and sure enough 😂😂😂
Bahaha oh man I totally forgot he did!
Wow such a great work !
The CT125 is of course great, but the Grom's driving performance really stood out.

Definitely right about the Grom!

No one likes comparison but I have to. I feel like this is FortNine level of quality and Common Tread (Zach and Ari) style of video. Earned my sub.
Hey man I love both those channels so I greatly appreciate the comparison!
The real champion here has to be the adventure Grom. What a surprising little weapon.
Seriously! It did so well
That was awesome. I love the off-road Grom.
Thanks! The Grom did so good
You must be super tight with Riley to get him riding that much mud lol great video Blake !
Bahah I think we take turns making each other suffer
Wow! Really enjoyed this. Tough terrain and a skilled rider with some balls. Hope the bike and your body are ok.
Another great video. I feel this way when I ride my 229cc dual sport “hawk DLX” around, but you guys are really taking it to the next level. Epic!!
Thanks for watching man! It’s hard to feel anything but joy when you’re riding little bikes off road
You do great work! I hope it keeps coming!
Thanks so much! Definitely got more coming

100% agree! I was actually looking for a wrench to do it on that ride cause it kept happening.
I’ve also heard people recommend cutting off the heel shifter.
Awesome adventure, just purchased this bike yesterday. Can't really say i will go as hard as ya'll did. But this was cool.
Damn your cuntry is beautiful and the way you explore it is crazy
I love my country, it’s big and full of surprises, you just gotta get out there and find them
@@rangeroadmoto do not worry in a couple of year im there or in Alaska thank you for the great movies
This is so beautiful. Love the ct125.
That was EPIC!
All new riders need to see this video before buying their first bike.
Cheers 🍻
Excellent ride/review showcasing this bike's limits. Well done.
i grew up using boggers (c90) stripped naked and trying to kill them, cockroach bikes - the 125 will be the same i hope - brilliant video
cockroach bikes is an awesome way to describe it
LITTLE BIKES, BIGGER ADVENTURES. THANKS FOR SHARING.
Incredible video. This bike is what made me interested in motorcycles. Now I want to buy two and go for an adventure.
Usually you can remove the 10mm nut that bolts the abs sensor, then zip tie it up out of the way!
I'd recommend throwing on some different tires the stock ones are kinda crap. Once I threw on some shinkos it became a different bike in the best way.
Yes!!! 100%%

I'm around 6 min in and there have been many laughs to be had. That says a lot about these bikes.
Awesome effort through hard terrain, love to see it. Its amazing to see where you can take a bike if you’re willing
What a fabulous video! Love trips like that with your buddies 🤙🏼

Best 125 video EVER!
Thanks so much Critter!
wow! great video! Thanks
Love the vids man!
Thanks man!
That was a Great... nehhh.... Awesome Video... I love that area of Alberta and been camping there a lot!
Thanks man! Yeah I love that area, it’s special
Love these videos!
Glad you like them!

Love it guys! Just Love it!
Never a dull moment with Riley!
I got tired just by watching you struggle 😆
Great scenery. Thanks for the video.

I agree with the choice. As you could see from our video the bike struggled pretty much everywhere. I was a little disappointed

Another great video! Thanks for sharing!
Means a lot! Thanks for watching!
auto clutch need high rpm to fully engage as they work with centrifugal force so 10-15km/h you are not fully engage so no torque. Nice vid !
Wicked fun video. How about offering stickers of your Range Road Moto logo. The little duck tail rear fender could really use one. Great video. Thanks
I will do that!

This is such type 2 fun 😅 Small bikes are awesome 🤘
I gotta agree with Riley on this one, I HATE mud lol probably more then I hate sand, and that's a lot lol
What part of the Rocky Mountains was this? I'm getting my Trail on Friday, and I would love to adventure out in those sticks.
nice. love my CT125
I have a ct110, i would love to see a comparison of the 2.
Really odd to have a bike made for at least some off road that won't let you disable the ABS. Wonder how that slipped through the cracks? Still, looks like an adventure!
I’d have to agree
Needs a shinko sr244 rear and a shinko sr241 front tire. Or the equivalent then it will go anywhere you went much much easier
Adventure bike! Ride the one you got. Would’ve been worse on a 1000+cc ADV bike.
I wouldn’t have even attempted it!
Very nice makes me want to challenge myself on the trail😊
Do it!
Awesome!!
Thanks!
What about high and low range transmission like the old one? That was super useful when on versus off-road.
When it had 6hp it was needed. I don't think it needs it with 10
Gorgeous what was that first trail I want to take my big bike out there
That’s just outside of Nordegg!
We may grow older but with a buddy and a couple of motorbikes we never have to grow up, until we get back home battered bruised hungry and tired.
Amen to that friend
Does the Grom have a traditional clutch? It seems to do well too. I'm restoring an old 125 RV Suzuki Van Van. I think that will be a similar bit if fun.
It does yeah, I think it’s the only way to go for off road riding like this. Love the VanVan! That will be a blast to ride
Didn't the old ones have a low gear ?
I seem to remember as a kid climbed hills no problem even with another kid sitting on the rear rack
They sure did! My ct90 had low range, it’s too bad they got rid of it
Wow just wow
Thanks!
Epic!
Thanks!
"Low kms, only babied through town"
Would've been nearly perfect if they did a clutch and the low range box. Shame
100% agree!
The CT is low speed low drag, nothing makes more smiles for the miles.
Abs is front only.... Rear locks up ezpz on mine
You Lucky people have the most amazing trails
Yeah we have some amazing stuff! Everything is a bit of a drive but it’s well worth it
@@rangeroadmoto a world of difference to England where I live 🤣
@@ogasi1798 haha I can definitely see that! Lots of very wild open areas with very few people
Hi. Please tell me which track is playing at 8:45?
👍🙌🤘‼

CT-125 hit in Thailand drive trail
The old trail 90 with low range would climb better.
lol epic!
Rip uk not getting the cool version of the cub
I know you're pushing this bike way beyond what it's really intended for, but ABS you can't turn off on a bike with "Trail" in the name still feels catastrophically stupid to me.
I would have to agree, a simple switch on the dash would be a nice option
@@rangeroadmotoIs there a fuse dedicated to the ABS?
