      @just some guy what would the point be of hating something I don't believe is real? I don't hate Batman *or* The Joker any more than I hate Superman or Lex Luthor, Harry Potter or Voldemort, or god or the devil. Furthermore, atheism and theism refer to belief, while agnosticism and gnosticism refer to knowledge.

      We have found truth. The things is that you want us to explain it to you but that is just not the way. You have to accept and confess Christ first and humilliate yourself in prayer to see the truth. But this something you are just not willing to do. If you don't want too, then remain ignorant and asking questions all your life.

      Here's a question the ape men can't answer; How many accidents in a shirt factory, would make it start producing trousers?
      The point is it doesn't matter, how many superficial changes are made to a thing, it don't turn it into a different... kind of thing. ( kind means sort, set or type, (yes we can have different kinds of shirts and different kinds of trousers. But that doesn't make them the same 'kind', of clothing items.))
      You can try wearing trousers on your head and shirts on your bottom. That might have a negative impact, on the chances of successful reproduction. This is a good example of typical Evolution logic. And shows how willfully absurd and self refuting Evolution and Atheism are.
      Another question the apetards can't answer, is Why are all the fossils, supposedly millions of years old? Where are all the various stages, of fossilisation to be found?
      Think about this for 5 mins. Well better make that 5 hours, knowing how retarded and backwards they are. I won't be surprised if 50 years isn't long enough. For these underdeveloped, brain stunted and bigoted, runts of Evolution. (This is me being extremely polite).
      One of the reasons we bury our dead, is so wild animals don't scavenge the carcasses.
      If fossilisation was a gradual process, as we're led to believe by the apetards. Burial wouldn't be as necessary and there would be many many, more human fossils. The fact there are so few human fossils. Is proof the theoretical, Evolutionary hypothesis, is utterly and unquestionably wrong. And the humans had the help of being buried when they died.
      I'm not an expert on dinosaurs, but I don't think they, had any help to be buried. Other than by God's global flood. This is THE, only possible plausible explanation.
      Mystery solved, Case closed. Can we all go home now?
      Hallelujah! Praise God, Amen.

      @flashgordon6670 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Iaharl sama, Does Evolution require countless genetic accidents, yes or no?
      Are you willfully ignorant about the fossils? Or just plain stupid? There are many fossils of creatures alive today. But they're never found, in the mid stages of fossilisation.
      Your pithy hollow objections, are as mindless as you are. Go home bact to the jungle and see how well you survive, Mr Ape Man. How do you like dem bananas?

Most of them failed to deliver anything despite delusions. Don't get me wrong, intellect is the only tool that we can use in order to move through our physical world that we can perceive, but physical world is not the only thing exist in our universe, so trying to create world view based on intellect that is capable of perceiving only small fraction of frequencies in the world, is just foolish.

      As a Born Again I can relate 100% with what Ray says as when you get to experience Christianity, because before experiencing it for myself I was agnostic/spiritual and came from an atheist background and Jesus really did prove me wrong. It's how you choose to really leave the world's stereotypes behind and do some research of your own. Now many atheists/scientists cannot prove that God does not exist the same way THEY can't prove that he does exist, therefore, their argument is not absolute neither. Now this 'fairytale' as you refer to it inspired billions of people across the world, it has formed our morality of what's right and what's wrong and countless legal systems follow the 10 commandments and the ones that don't follow them usually end up being corrupted. I also understand why people would get the wrong impression of christianity since it's not taught the correct way and many people that claim to be christians are acc producing an unfair image of us while astraying from what's actually said in the Bible with their own interpetations. Me myself, I would find a lot of parts of the Bible problematic, so I would do plenty of research and ask people that actually studied and knew the field, and very easily I would find my answers there that would made absolute sense.

Well, science has not figured it all out but quite a bit so far, and who knows what answers it will have 100, 200 or 500 yrs. from now ? @@jerrylanglois7892 So God should have made us robots? God does not control every individual. It's our free will! It is our choices that cause pain and suffering. Perfect love CANNOT be bound by control. Control is not God's nature. Don't confuse Christianity with all the other 4,000+ religions. For Jesus said himself, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So according to the Bible, there should be no other religions! Thus, all for one, one for all. Pefect love and peace.
      But because man's sin. Satan is the god of this world and has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Gospel. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
      Ask yourself. Are we closer to world peace or self destruction? You really think the way the world is headed we will last another 1,000 years? Science can't even explain the origin of life! And it never will because the TRILLIONS of possibilities ! There are over 30 Trillion cells in the human body! The DNA in our body would stretch over 34 Billion miles! (that would go way beyond pluto!) And you think that happened by coincidence? You think life is just some massive science project that man thinks they will figure out some day? Man won't even make it to the next galaxy! That would take over 250,000 years! ASSUMING we can travel at the SPEED OF LIGHT which we have NO CLUE how any space craft with man inside could even accomplish this. You are a soul living in a temporary body! How does science explain love? How did consciousness arise in living things? Where does symbolic thinking and self-awareness come from? What is it that allows humans to understand the mysteries of biology, physics, mathematics, engineering and medicine? And what enables us to create great works of art, music, architecture and literature? Science is nowhere near to explaining these deep mysteries.
      To you it came from nothing? A bunch of explosions created order? So you live with no purpose? No meaning to your existence?

It is so sad that we cannot show you for just one second the reality in this other dimension. It can only be seen if you humble yourself to Almighty God the Creator and ask Him. But you need to be sincere. Science, scientists, skeptics are not afraid to admit that they got things wrong - that how we learn and gain knowledge. On the other hand, Ray Comfort accumulated so many "wrong ideas" that form a part of him, admitting he had been wrong was to negate him as a person - in Christianity, being "wrong" is the "sin" and the shame attached to it is so crushing that Ray Comfort is frightened.

      The real difference is that atheists have to hold tight they are right, no matter what.
      But those who believe in The Creator and have passed thru a real personal experience about that (and I am not talking about something some could "made up") have the "I know" from a way different nature.
      I know this may sound very odd now, but some that know any case of absolute change on any person, like a violent and selfish man into a really nice person (just to illustrate) "just because" he/her passed thru that experience, atheists will call it a mental unbalance, a chemical change caused by the power of his/her own mind and somethings like that.
      Other wise, if an atheist can't show a link between animal kinds, can't calculate probabilities for a living thing "appear", can't show any prove of a real evidence that don't reinforce the possible "SAME CREATOR" point of view, "it's just a matter of time", "we don't know yet", "everything is in constant changing"...
      ...and all those that can't bow and serve a ""superior mind" aplaude - stand ovation!
      So, if you really be honest, you'll see that both sides are BELIEVING, but only one of them have answers and numbers PRO...
      ...the answer "I know GOD" is not enough, too. BUT there is NOT lack of "evidences" for The Creator existence is a lie.
      The end of this, for me, is: Atheists are always looking for a prove that there's NO GOD - a "god" that atheists think they know who is - and, like we can see in this video, it's almost impossible to live that personal experience and keep saying "there's no Creator". Because atheists, many, had bad religious and family relationships and is absolutely understandable atheists start to doubt...
      ...and doubt is the opposite of faith.
      We are living a time that "rights" are not necessarily based on "pro life" anymore...
      So simple and so basic...
      ...I hope the best for all you guys!

So obviously yes, the atheist never did know God because God doesn't exist for anyone to know (the god of the Bible at least) but for them to imply with such arrogance that this person wasn't good or worthy enough of their god to reveal himself because they didn't know or understand the gospel, wasn't sincere or genuine and then on top of it to imply that they were engaging in activities that would allow the evil Satan to get control of their soul. It's so crazy and rude when what they're really saying is broken down. Science: "I don't know, so let's find out."

    • @mrmagus4553
      @mrmagus4553 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Actually, humans created science. If your argument is that god created humans--and therefore science, than there needs to be evidence. What science does is that it makes a hypothesis (god) and uses empirical evidence to validify it, but the only evidence that god has is the evidence that the book itself claims, which is not valid. The reason is because the only way that anyone can honestly believe that the book is true, is to use other evidences outside of the book, but those evidences are non-existent for the Bible, and only relies on its self evidence. So I want you to consider that to truly believe in something that is stated to be true, than that something must have observeable evidence that is outside of personal experience, evidences that are outside the actual claim, and evidence that is provable by other evidences in the natural world.
      PS. This is not only for religion, and is for all claims.

    • @mrmagus4553
      @mrmagus4553 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @Chris Stols I'm sorry to disagree with you, but it doesn't. Science by definition is the method at which to obtain information through study and evidence. This method was proposed primarily by human beings.

    • @mrmagus4553
      @mrmagus4553 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Chris Stols What is your Interpretation of the word science, and why can't it be created? Also I'm assuming you're are referring to the Big Bang Theory when you talk about creating energy from nothing, right? If that's so, than I'm here to inform that most astronomers don't claim that the universe came from nothing, and even if you don't know what the universe came from, there's still no reason to appeal to god.

    • @mrmagus4553
      @mrmagus4553 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Chris Stols Ok, thanks for clearing that up, but I have another question, what created god? Most religious people I meet who I ask this question to, say that god is eternal, but that logic doesn't make any sense. Because if complex beings, (like humans) require energy, then does that logic also go for god. Because if it did, then that would make an infinite loop of god created this god, and that god, and so on. If you don't believe that, I would like to know the reason why.
      Thanks.
      (Edit) There's also another good theory on how energy was "created," that doesn't brake the Law of Conservation of Energy, or the first Law of Thermodynamics. This theory states that the universe was eternal, and energy was always around in the form of virtual particals. Then during some time, became the singularity. I'm not an astronomer, or a quantum physisist, so if you want a more detailed description about this theory, then there are many sources online that talk about it.

      "Something can't come from nothing", Christians say followed by their claims of some invisible God created the entire universe, a God that certainly couldn't have come from nothing.
      The truth is, scientific knowledge is ascertained from that in which was and can be tested, those tests can be replicated and repeated with the same results occurring every time.
      Evolution has been and can be tested and demonstrated while Christianity and most other religion's claims, on the other hand, cannot be tested or demonstrated, not even at the most basic levels.
      As an example, I'll paste below a very simple test anyone can perform. Christians can do so very easily, probably in two minutes.
      If you're an atheist or agnostic, you can ask a Christian to help you with a really simple test that can show us not just God but their particular religions God does exist.
      If your an atheist or agnostic, here is the experiment's questions. I included the answers I usually get which should help you in knowing what to expect in most cases...
      1st Question:
      Me: The Bible is pretty clear in that God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and that there is nothing he can't do, right??
      Christian: Yes that is what the Bible states and therefore, it is the truth.
      2nd Question:
      Me: In basic terms, what is prayer?
      Christian: (Gives me a standard explanation, often being something to the effect it being the primary line of communication between man and the God they believe in)
      3rd:
      Me: Do you pray?
      Christian: Of course
      4th:
      Me: So prayer is you having a two-way communication where you speak and God listens and where God speaks (albeit not in a literal audible voice) and you listen??
      Christian: Yep, that about sums it up
      NOTE: I've asked all of those above questions and in this specific order to make sure that they can't begin retroactively amending or dialing back the very fundamental assertions they had just confirmed or at least do so without openly and completely contradicting the very principles they just confirmed to be true (true to their doctrine)
      5th Question:
      Me: So, since God is all-knowing, all-powerful, he knows my every thought, feeling, or action, then let's see if that he can.
      I am thinking of a number right and of course, God knows exactly what it is, probably before I even thought of it.
      You said you pray and communicate with this God.
      So, please ask God what number it is that I've been thinking of and see what answer he gives you.
      This is a very simple task for a God who, you claim, created the entire universe and did so in just a week.
      (I sometimes add the following as an incentive, especially if they are evangelical type) "If the number God tells you I'm thinking of is correct, I will gladly attend church every Sunday for an entire year and do it with an open mind. I'll even attend your church with you if you like."
      Christian: (Begins to immediately fumble for excuses, most of which completely contradict the very claims that had just asserted.)
      NOT ONE of the probably 50 or so Christians I've asked this same set of questions to has ever even TRIED to pause for a second to bow their heads and make an honest effort at praying to their alleged God to see what answer they will receive.
      This leads me to suspect that many of them either don't actually pray, don't truly believe they can hear from their God, don't believe that God answers prayer, and/or they are being challenged for the first time on the matter and quite simply do not know what to think about it all.
      To my pleasant surprise, this has helped a few of them to began asking questions about their religion and if they're honest, they will begin to no longer just naively accept the typical, lazy "God is just mysterious" cop-out or other empty excuses or canned rebuttals that simply attempt to quickly fill in the ever-growing number of holes 🕳️ in their doctrine and theology.
      Give it a try the next time you get into a theological discussion with a theist, see what answers you get.

Yet, throughout the interview, he's been doing *exactly that*: telling Matt that he wasn't a true Christian, saying that Hitler wasn't a true Christian, etc. And about 30 seconds before he said that, he described how he asks for forgiveness after looking at a woman lustfully because "he *doesn't want to be a hypocrite*". Anybody can define the term "true Christian" as whatever they want it to be, and the definitions of course vary so dramatically that the term is completely meaningless and useless.
      I'd say one of two things: either Hitler is a true Christian just as every other member of Christianity is a true Christian, because the term is completely meaningless. Or, alternatively, nobody is a true Christian _because_ the term is meaningless.

      *****
      Allright where do I begin...:
      1.There is no way to ever know for sure that anyone who claims is christian actually is one. Only you know if you are "a true christian" and even then you are bound to sin against your god at some point. So what I think AnAtheistGuy meant was: nobody has ever been a "true christian" cause it is impossible to not commit some sin in your life. (especially since according to your holy book you can sin even with your thoughts and not even hateful or greedy thoughts, just the natural thoughts of sex)
      Obviously you'll say that you can ask for forgiveness and all that, which only proves the point. You can't ever know if someone actually believes what they say they do.
      2.You might want to google the "No true Scotsman" logical fallacy.
      3.The dictionary definition of a christian is:
      "a person who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ and his divinity". So the standard is pretty damn low. You don't even have to do shit. Just believe! Hell, I could be a christian if I wanted to. Or claim that I was and guess what? You could never prove me wrong. Unless you are some sort of a psychic zombie that can read minds, who is also his own father and who sent himself to sacrifice himself to himself to take advantage of a loophole to rules he, himself created. But that's just silly of course.
      4.Let's assume you are right though. Tell me exactly what is a "true christian" in great detail. Including clearifying if breaking any or some of those rules can be forgiven and under what circumstances.
      5.Hitler was a roman catholic, you uneducated, weak-minded, brain-washed idiot. I am sick and tired of having to correct people who are just to damn lazy to read a fucking book before they go spewing stupid shit around, that some other stupid people can read and think is true without reasearching it themselves.
      Read "Mein Kampf", any of Hitler's speeches, or, hell, I don't know... what did the SS army have written on their helmets cause I always forget. But I'm pretty sure it was "Gott mit uns"(God with us).
      6.I keep hearing this term "Darwinist" used by christian apologists but what the fuck is that anyway? Darwin wasn't a philosopher. He was a scientist. He didn't preach, he researched. Which I guess is why you use his name as if it was some profanity. You hate science don't you? You hate it everytime it happens to prove your religion wrong and you will not accept any facts of evidence because of your agenda.
      But at the same time you will use a computer to reply me. You are a hypocrite.
      Or rather: "a TRUE hypocrite"

      The claim that is _actually_ being made is:
      Because of scientific research/discoveries, medicine is better today than it was 100 years ago.
      Do you disagree with that? You're so quick to disagree with something that isn't even the point. You look here like how Ray deals with evolution. He's had years and years, but if he spent just one month learning the science and correcting _his beliefs about what the evidence is_ he wouldn't be making any of the arguments he is making here, because they only address his _misunderstanding_ of what evolution's evidence is, not the actual evidence. Same as how if you actually listened to this video, you would understand what Enzo was saying, and you wouldn't argue with him by disagreeing with _your misunderstanding_ of what he is saying.

      +Bobby Duckett I don't see Ray Comfort as a bad person, I just don't think he's very smart. Kend Hovind isn't remotely intelligent either, but he is a convicted criminal. Bruggencate is mentally ill. Eric Hovind seems like a pretty decent guy, but is exceptionally dull minded. Basically, none of these guys are in any position to be telling people what they should believe in or how to live their lives, yet the fact anyone actually know's WHO they even are is disturbing.

    • @bobbyduckett5465
      @bobbyduckett5465 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I do think they are bad people. They both knowingly lie to children. They both exploit peoples' ignorance and trust, all to earn a quick buck. They both repeatedly misrepresent themselves, and the shit they assert. Regardless of how many times they are corrected. If they had it their way, we would be back in the dark ages, a time that the church was most powerful. They would deny people the right to religious expression, except for protestant Christianity. They would teach children shit they know to be inaccurate. They would deny them critical thinking skills, and individuality. Which will put a stop to innovation. They would impede all progress as long as they possibly can.
      I think they are bad people.

    I really wish that this video was advertised in the title of having Ray Comfort on the call. Because that was really meaningful for me as someone who was raised on science class based on theology by Ray Comfort and others in his circle. I want people to be able to search his name and find this video

    Ray: the banana proves god. its made for us... It has A built in opener...
    Me: and the over 200 thousand other fruits and vegis ? Not "perfectly " made for us.. ?
    Ray: but the banana fits perfectly in your hand...

    If you believe god is the creator and that there has to be a creator, then there has to be a creator of god and the creator of the creator of god etc.... But I guess most Christian don't believe that god has creator. It's kind of a contradict?

    • @mark41776
      @mark41776 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not if we believe that everything bound by natural law (you, me, the universe) must be created, and the creator is supernatural, or not bound by natural law.

    • @Sismetic
      @Sismetic 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marcus Moody I agree... it's possible but not the only option nor the most likely option imo. But generally the argument goes like "everything needs a creator", so god therefore needs a creator, and if you say god is outside natural law you can say the same about logic and that makes further discussion useless
