It would be absolutely wonderful if God did something to help the suffering people in Ethiopia but the sad truth is that He will not do anything because if He did something everybody could see that God exists and people would no longer have to BELIEVE that He exists. They would KNOW that He exists. For some strange reason God does not want people to KNOW that He exists.

This video has made my heart joyful. I had surgery two years ago that almost caused brain damage. I was so close to losing my mind. I've worked as a trader full-time for roughly 12 years. My email address is on my profile since I've previously been contacted for investing advice. Despite my passion for what I do, life suddenly slowed down and got monotonous. Even now, I'm not sure how I recovered. One day I thought I saw a brilliant light and when I looked back at my husband I saw he was crying. I'm back at work and proud as ever. People seek guidance on how to assist on a daily basis.

I often fear for my generation and their godlessness.
So many youth are quick to laugh at the word of god, the strength of prayer and faith, far more accepting of new age spirituality- be it from Tarot and crystals with supposed healing properties, to astrology and everything else between, anything of course but Christ.

I’ve made myself practice prayer especially for those that are lost in their faith, for that they may one day find their way to the word of God.
I also am beginning to learn to forgive those I feel have wronged me, or caused pain- I try my hardest to forgive. I ask God to watch over them, to bless them.
I recognize that perhaps god put these people in my path for that reason, to begin exercising forgiveness and understanding.

I keep believing and being so negative by how I am... That I have failed in faith and love of God so much and even "can't" past any of the "test" now 😔 because I was believeing but also so ignorant to my sins and sinning but also become so self focused and absorbed in them. Also become so stubborn and judgment on all wrongs in people and how evil has effected everything and especially my heart 😔
That keeps wanting to give up but also at the same time wanting Christ to save and that he Has done it all for us. And where I have been so destructive to my soul and others from not really being able to "choose" to do what is right all the time or really listen to follow God or Christ with a loving and willing heart. And all my issues of not really living and loving life as I should be and truly helping or forgiving or having a real changed heart etc. Where I'm the one also constantly asking for forgiveness but just don't "change". Wanted to all just depend on God/Jesus to take control of my heart in a loving way instead of the evil spirits ways that effects our hearts to be evil 😔

I’ve found that the most evident sin of all is pride. Here’s how the trap works in my experience: “I’m the humblest man before the Lord in all of the world. There’s none like me.” There are actually TWO sins here: pride and exceptionalism. Sure, we’re individuals, but we must not make the mistake of thinking that we’re truly unique. As I look back at my life, I can easily see how God guided me, even in the worst moments.

father I'm about 1000% certain that I want to become a deacon. Currently I'm a subdeacon. I just got promoted to subdeacon about a year ago. Do you have any suggestions about what I should do or how I should pray about this circumstance. I wish I could live at church. I look forward to every Sunday. Serving God. Serving his holy house. I pray that I don't fall into deception and start to think how holy i am. I can sin with the best of them. I am the chief sinner. I know this. Any advice from you would be greatly appreciated?
    Subdeacon Christopher

From my observations of clergy and my own game of trying to avoid being the cantor while being in a choir. I would suggest serve where you are and trust that God will work in his own time and way. Just when you think you will be where you are forever the church will call you to the next stage. Do not push for it or flee from it as God alone knows when where and in what circumstances.
It would not harm however to work on any academic training you diocese requires it's clergy to have and if you can find some which is not anti-Christian doing a course in listing skills, it is useful anyway but a skill which should be looked on favorably like being able to sing at least reasonably.

You can go to your nearest Orthodox Church and make an appointment with the priest.
