Whenever you are bothered and frustrated, stop thinking immediately and pray ‘Lord I am with you in this moment, nothing else but God in this moment I’m living.’ I think only of God, ignore all feelings and thoughts, just return to God quickly in the moment you are living. Just keep going back to him honey, that is the battle, the devil rips you away from God by wicked or self-defeating thoughts, And you must remain alert to realize this and fly right back to God in that moment, thinking of nothing else, just God. I’m currently feeling hopeless. The despair in my heart continues to grow every day and I feel my self distancing from Christ. I haven’t been to church in three weeks. I ask you my brothers and sisters to please pray for me.
I grew up Christian, as a child I was very involved. I remember an instance in school where I was having lunch and I prayed for my food the way I was taught,around the age of 8. My friends started laughing at me and that really changed me. I gave up my religion, my family's teachings just to be accepted. Now I'm lost. Brother, thank you for your videos. I was baptised much earlier in my life, brought up in an Orthodox Christian family, though i'd be lying if I said that I believed or knew God back then. I used to consider myself an atheist. I visited an Orthodox Church today, Father. I haven’t been inside a church in almost 20 years. Ill be 30 in March, with two kids! Time flies. I stumbled across your videos several months ago, and one video more recently regarding possession. Your explanation of long term possession resonated in a way I didn’t think it could. I had an experience with what many would call a demon when I was 19. Whatever happened, it certainly wasn’t of the earth as known by current science. I was attacked by something I couldn’t see. Upon being awoken in my room. Not sleep paralysis. But i digress… I truly believe that after seing this video, and periodically repenting one evening last month, from roughly 10 pm December 28th to 2 am on the 29th, I was able to receive what has only been described to me as receiving the holy spirit. That morning into the evening, I was filled with an energy I am still struggling to explain. It changed me. I had repented, truly, even struggling with the very existence of the God I was reaching out to, I repented to Jesus Christ, I asked that I be rid of my lust, I asked for my soul to be cleansed. I asked for a sign that I wasn’t praying to nothing, or even worse, something sinister in being. I woke up, refreshed, but different… i saw through my eyes, but I saw differently… I thought as if my brain was on tracks, my own thoughts, but guided by purity. I had no lust. I felt as though my very being was glowing. I was happy… beyond expression. Filled with love. Although immeasurably unexpected, I was fortunate to have experienced it throughout most of the day, until I broke my fast that evening, and started to become just myself again. It was profound, beyond. I could explain more, but this post is long enough. I just want to say thank you Father Spyridon, you have changed my life for the better, in more ways that i am sure are to come. Thank you, truly. To anyone else that suffered this lengthy post, thank you for reading my story, and to those that don’t believe, especially so, know that I was like you, and I hope that my experience can help lead you to your own!

Keep reading your bible, try to find (if possible) like minded people. The closer we are with our Lord, the more evil will tempt us, evil forces will be after us. We live in those times when we need to be very courageous and brave to stand for righteousness. Thank you Father spyrion. I've recently been introduced to Orthodoxy. Honestly I feel like I have encountered a gold mine. I know this is the right path. Jesus Christ is in every sermon. I've been tossed to and fro here in the USA with emotionalism or something that is cold. Looking back to my 20's and my relationship with Jesus and His love and care for me. I carried a child with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and he came upon me after I bore her. You see those around me had encouraged me to abort her. The Holy Spirit lit upon me and he was telling me that I was doing the will of God. My whole room was glowing in His presence. I had been raped. I named her Elizabeth. Promise of God is the meaning of it. I made the right choice. She's 35 and bore 4 children herself. In all I have 9. I've been very blessed indeed. I have lived in a spiritual third world yet I find all the services you and mar Mari give us so much more than enough. Thank you

In the UK so many churches have closed, beautiful buildings obscenely turned into apartments and bars. Its really heart breaking, the few remaining Christian churches are nearly empty for services and face closure too. I keep God and Christ in my heart they cant close that down.

This is not what the Orthodox Church teaches. You can not pray a prayer and spend the rest of your life in spiritual darkness and ignorance. Faith without works is dead. We are called to stand before the one who was lifted up for our sakes. We are called to live the life of the church and to participate in the Sacraments. Your private interpretation of scripture is contrary to what the early church practiced, what the apostles and the holy fathers preached, and what we continue to practice to this day.

Father. Thank you for your preaching today. I'm 17 year old teenager that wanted to be a priest but sadly that hope passed away with negative experience with a local priest I was helping. I regret that I didn't do anything to keep that wish. I didn't have peace upon myself back then. But now, I feel like a new men. I do my best to help others and to be a good son. I go to the church more often and pray and read the Bible. God have mercy on me, a sinner. Amen.
Don't give up. God uses anyone regardless of your age. I was reborn by the age of 19. It is a struggle, a battle, and I desire to be a priest as well. All I want is to serve Christ for the rest of my life, and yet I am not a priest. God is with you, do not fall in despair, for he is our hope.

I am a missionary, and I know the persecution of Christians. The Bible says it has been granted to us to suffer for the name of Jesus Christ. I pray for my persecuted brothers and sisters. And I pray that God would give me the grace to endure my persecution when it comes to me.

Baptized as orthodox but wasn’t too into it growing up since my church is Romanian but I didn’t understand it well. Few months ago I’ve felt the lord calling me back and I’ve been reading an English orthodox study bible almost daily since and I’m falling in love with the lord more and more everyday. I’ve also started attending my church again since new years and haven’t missed a day, following along with the English translation book of the liturgy. God bless you all ❤

Amen, Father. Many temptations to seek comfort today. It's hard to compare ourselves to the people and saints of the past. We need more Spiritual athletes in our modern times. A good place to start would probably be imitating the athletes of our times. But because we make up the Church, our righteousness must exceed theirs. Hopefully, when we repent we could return a little closer to the Church from past generations.

I was baptised much earlier in my life, brought up in an Orthodox Christian family, though i'd be lying if I said that I believed or knew God back then. I used to consider myself an atheist. I visited an Orthodox Church today, Father. I haven’t been inside a church in almost 20 years. Ill be 30 in March, with two kids! Time flies.
I stumbled across your videos several months ago, and one video more recently regarding possession. Your explanation of long term possession resonated in a way I didn’t think it could. I had an experience with what many would call a demon when I was 19. Whatever happened, it certainly wasn’t of the earth as known by current science. I was attacked by something I couldn’t see. Upon being awoken in my room. Not sleep paralysis. But i digress…
I truly believe that after seing this video, and periodically repenting one evening last month, from roughly 10 pm December 28th to 2 am on the 29th, I was able to receive what has only been described to me as receiving the holy spirit. That morning into the evening, I was filled with an energy I am still struggling to explain. It changed me.
I had repented, truly, even struggling with the very existence of the God I was reaching out to, I repented to Jesus Christ, I asked that I be rid of my lust, I asked for my soul to be cleansed. I asked for a sign that I wasn’t praying to nothing, or even worse, something sinister in being. I woke up, refreshed, but different… i saw through my eyes, but I saw differently… I thought as if my brain was on tracks, my own thoughts, but guided by purity. I had no lust. I felt as though my very being was glowing. I was happy… beyond expression. Filled with love. Although immeasurably unexpected, I was fortunate to have experienced it throughout most of the day, until I broke my fast that evening, and started to become just myself again. It was profound, beyond.
I could explain more, but this post is long enough. I just want to say thank you Father Spyridon, you have changed my life for the better, in more ways that i am sure are to come. Thank you, truly.
To anyone else that suffered this lengthy post, thank you for reading my story, and to those that don’t believe, especially so, know that I was like you, and I hope that my experience can help lead you to your own!

I've been tossed to and fro here in the USA with emotionalism or something that is cold. Looking back to my 20's and my relationship with Jesus and His love and care for me. I carried a child with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and he came upon me after I bore her. You see those around me had encouraged me to abort her. The Holy Spirit lit upon me and he was telling me that I was doing the will of God. My whole room was glowing in His presence. I had been raped. I named her Elizabeth. Promise of God is the meaning of it. I made the right choice. She's 35 and bore 4 children herself. In all I have 9. I've been very blessed indeed. I have lived in a spiritual third world yet I find all the services you and mar Mari give us so much more than enough. Thank you

In the UK so many churches have closed, beautiful buildings obscenely turned into apartments and bars. Its really heart breaking, the few remaining Christian churches are nearly empty for services and face closure too. I keep God and Christ in my heart they cant close that down.

This is not what the Orthodox Church teaches. You can not pray a prayer and spend the rest of your life in spiritual darkness and ignorance. Faith without works is dead. We are called to stand before the one who was lifted up for our sakes. We are called to live the life of the church and to participate in the Sacraments. Your private interpretation of scripture is contrary to what the early church practiced, what the apostles and the holy fathers preached, and what we continue to practice to this day.

I regret that I didn't do anything to keep that wish. I didn't have peace upon myself back then. But now, I feel like a new men. I do my best to help others and to be a good son. I go to the church more often and pray and read the Bible. God have mercy on me, a sinner. Amen.

I am a missionary, and I know the persecution of Christians. The Bible says it has been granted to us to suffer for the name of Jesus Christ. I pray for my persecuted brothers and sisters. And I pray that God would give me the grace to endure my persecution when it comes to me.
The Church is persecuted in so much of the world by so many different groups and forces, but behind them all is Satan. In Ukraine, the Biden-backed government is arresting bishops and priests, stealing churches, closing monasteries and outlawing the Church. Western media looks away, and few know or care about what is happening.
Christians in Palestine are seeing death and destruction along with the Muslim Palestinians. Meanwhile, the zionist evangelicals of America fantasise it is God’s will to commit genocide.
Christians in many places getting liquidated , it's growing and expanding. You can see the ten emerging. It's hard to stay focused and build a decent life but you have to pay attention. Baptized as orthodox but wasn’t too into it growing up since my church is Romanian but I didn’t understand it well.
Few months ago I’ve felt the lord calling me back and I’ve been reading an English orthodox study bible almost daily since and I’m falling in love with the lord more and more everyday.
I’ve also started attending my church again since new years and haven’t missed a day, following along with the English translation book of the liturgy. God bless you all ❤

Amen, Father. Many temptations to seek comfort today. It's hard to compare ourselves to the people and saints of the past. We need more Spiritual athletes in our modern times. A good place to start would probably be imitating the athletes of our times. But because we make up the Church, our righteousness must exceed theirs. Hopefully, when we repent we could return a little closer to the Church from past generations.
