Fascinating. Appreciate the quality of the video production! And Gwen has that rare combination of on-camera presence and techie know-how. Thanks iFixit team!
This girl is so much more watchable, knowledgeable and listenable than any dude's video, ever. No wonder she's got a fat rock on her finger. She can prolly fix every conceivable home repair. I'll bet she's installed a new roof in the time it took me to write this. A++
for the pretty lady of course, and Apple do a really nice job of squeezing hardware in their products, its always interesting to see the inner workings, even if they don't make it easy.
when did the replacement happen? I was told great things about ifixit. so b/c I like the "if it cant be fixed with a 4lb beater cant be fix." ok found show more button with full video link. beer coaster it is. It's apple anyways.
Touch screen was already lifted, removed and set lightly back in place for this video. It's ok, these videos just provide me with more business from a DIY'er. To get inside the iPad it is a very sensitive, meticulous repair & replacement
I can see now - iPad was designed for users, not for people who fix their stuff. iPhone is half bad at disassemble, especially the 4S, but the iPads - never had one, and never will.
