@@Twlst3d_Antidxte Don't use weapons that have elemental attacks like crit, poison or shock. I think alien is the only character that you cannot max with this glitch because he cannot switch his weapon and it has an elemental attack (fire)
For anyone wondering no this hasn’t been patched I am doing it as I type this comment. I also had the issue of him being bumped onto the ledge over and over and it took me about seven tries to get it correct but it does work.

Btw guys for a better explanation jump hit him with light attack then.. "WHILE HE IS ON THE FLOOR" PRESS heavy attack,and when you do you will jump on him after that enjoy
@@kennigundel33 get him alone then move towards him with your shield to block the arrow after he shoots the arrow press light attack then heavy (not too fast you aren’t in a rush) once he’s flat on his back press heavy again the bird will attack and you should be able to leave it alone after that.You want to get him in the bottom corner makes it easier to get the bird to attack him.
If you are having problems with throwing the dude instead of stomping him you are probably attacking to early you have to wait until he is on the ground and completely flat than hit you attack and it works perfectly It took me about 2 hours to figure that out XD
If you’re having problems getting him up there and the hawk attacking. Walk up to him really close in the corner Hit A then X only once and as soon as he’s on the ground go directly on top of him and Press Y once and then walk into the corner as far as you can.

@@Gamer_LW-404 yes, it has the fire element. It has a random chance to trigger when attacking an enemy and the effect will have triggered when you tried to do the glitch. To check if a weapon has any elemental effects, head to the blacksmith's and stand in front of it. There should be a circle at the bottom of the stats pop-up and if that has something in then the weapon has an elemental effect. Ideally you'll want to use a weapon without an elemental effect to make sure that the thief doesn't die.
Still works as of May 2022 I tried this for days it only finally worked for me once I played with a character I never played and didn’t level up their strength at all, but great video thanks 👍
still works! just make sure not to use a lightning poison or crit weapon, or it'll cancel. if you're doing this at a higher level, i recommend using the narwal horn sword for a damage reduction.

UPDATE: original xbox 360 can* do this however you need to do it multi player. One person has to remain to the left of the statues and scoot forward ever so slightlu, the other player goes to the exteeme right.then they hit the limit, if the dudes have not yet jumped out, move that second player that is near the statues to move to the right a very little bit. This makes it so you can go backwards in the xbox 360 game, not the remastered one
Still works btw also a tip if you hit him up but your pet doesn’t attack as soon as you press Y and he goes up walk as far into the corner as possible and it should work

Has no one mentioned you can do this with multiple players to make it faster? Just make sure all players have hawk equipped, the person that does the glitch will get all the XP. All four hawks are attacking, so I think it goes 4 times as fast but I'm not 100% sure. I know it's wayyyy faster though. You can use multiple controllers on guest accounts
To those of you saying that this glitch is patched, no it is not, nor will it ever be. This game had its final update years ago. No new updates or patches will be coming so this glitch will work indefinitely
@Duplex GMF I’m so glad that this glitch still works after a year.. and even though I’m level 49 I still need to max out my defense and ability to have max stats. For anyone searching for ps3, this works there as well IF you have a second controller that can wait at the statues while you activate the enemies. This will keep the screen from locking you out of the glitch area.
i was on switch and this still works! you just have to keep your switch on by tapping the screen but all you need to press is b,y, and x in the order i told you

I just got it to work! I accidentally killed him maybe 4 times then focused on the stomp with Y while he's on the ground rather than just mashing the jump X Y and it worked the first time I hit the stomp. 👍🏻
just got it to work, and tip: use a weapon that has no special ability (flamability, electricity, ice, ect.) since it will kill the glitched thief and wont let it work
@@lolapsole6088 there is an XP glitch as alien. If you go to the desert on insane mode you can use the boomerang and hit a cactus perfectly and then get eaten by one of the enemies that come out of the ground, you can level up pretty fast. You can't be afk during it though
I love using this glitch (tbh i think i over use it) but every time i start a new character i try my best to get it to around lvl 50 and put stats mainly in magic hp and damage but it is amazing to use (my industrialist is lvl 74/78 [78 is the max lvl where you get skill points])

03/06/22 works on steam version. It’s just super hard to pull off. It’s harder then it looks.

Advice for this glitch: If you’re a higher level and can’t do this while keeping the thief alive, do Insane mode (Plus you get the XP bonus from it)

Answering my own question. Only the character that did the glitch gets xp even with 2 hawks attacking. It still works in PS3
