Hi Mark, a nice little job there with a good demonstration of different pipe jointing methods and applications. A bit of craic with the other tradesmen is always great, keep them lads motivated. Have a good week and as always, take care, regards Chris. 👍👍👍
Thanks for that, Mark. I've thought about doing something like that with our garage, but it would mean emptying ten years worth of random crap out of it first! You had push-fit, press-fit, compression and solder this time, so there's bound to be something in there somewhere to "please" all the moaners!
Great job Mark. I'd have liked to have seen the rest of the build especially the insulation side of things. The customer should have chosen smaller skirting as I didn't like the hole where the rad pipes came through the wall.
The customer changed the height of the skirting in between me first fixing it and going back to 2nd fix…… Dave was annoyed aswell as we both said it looked crap…. What can you do sometimes🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Nice one Mark, 100% I would have used plastic on that sort of job. As for fitting the radiator? I hang the bracket upside down on the top and measure from the top of the bracket back to the top of the radiator as its easier to read and gives you same size anyway as the way you do it. I liked that wee job, it looked really good when you finished it.
What a great video, nice to see a space being repurposed like that. I fully agree with you regarding the plastic, it has it's purpose, if you were to install copper through all that studwork, with all those hidden fittings, a potential recipe for disaster.
when measuring an existing valve note the distance from the floor, put that at the center gf the valve the measure to the top of the bracket, job done.
I would have been tempted to get rid of the radiator and instead use Thermaskirt . It would allow the client to put a desk under the window as well as providing round the room heating. Another great video. Our heating system was services two weeks ago and the engineer knows you...we are relatively local and your good works are well known over here.
Thanks for the kind words Adrian…. Who was it that serviced your heating??… and where abouts are you. I’ve not used the thermaskirt system, tbh I’m a little dubious of how good it is and how well it would work.
I was subscribed but missed a few video, this ones popped up on my feed, I’ve clicked the bell icon again so I don’t miss any more, don’t know how it got knocked off On the plus side though, I can binge watch a few
Hello Mark just watching your video like the way you explain everything and show what you can plus like the van chats after my son went I do watch alot of you tube plus learning alot look forward to Christmas video
to measure a rad height, simply figure how for of the skirting or floor you want the rad, say 6" I'm old school. pull your tape to say 5 or 6" start the at the bottom of the rad then measure to the top of the bracket. so your tape hangs 5" from the bottom of the rad and you are good to go.
That's the real world plumbing mate. How is your eibenstock core drill, looking to get one as my marcrist is gone. Do you highly recommend it mate as you been using it for quite long time now Thanks 👍
For me bottom of rad or centre of valve hole to the bottom of the bracket👍 Tidy little job, just wish I had a garage😂 be nice not to have the tools in the house to keep them safe.
Hey mark. Will the hot and cold pipes running across the ceiling get in the way of the new plaster board? Perhaps there’s another type of ceiling going in? Enjoy the channel been watching since
Hi Mark, Just curious as to why you used 90 degree plastic fittings in the chopped out woodwork? whereas the other end of the pipe you used end feed copper to save space. Hope you reach your 40k by Christmas, it would be a nice present for you. Keep up the great work. All the best.
With it being boarded on both edges of that wall plastic wasn’t an issue….. where as coming out for the basin was…. Tbh it was behind the unit anyway so wouldn’t of mattered to be fair
Hi mark how are u ok today keep up there good work on here am going too share you out on here am a big supporter of u do a rally good job with are business u do a rally good job and I well Use u and I hove sub too u on here am a big supporter of u do a rally good job on here
My ocd would of taken over and rubbed down the snot and solder on the existing copper pipe as you just know it’s going to eat through the copper in a few years 😂😂, I think we have been doing this plumbing wrong for all these years and hiding pipes in walls and ceilings, houses would get warmer if pipes are showing instead of hiding them just because it’s the way it is? What you’re subscribing community think 😂😂😂😂😂
Another way to look at that is if you started rubbing it down and disturbing it, then it lets go in a few months it’s on you….. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️….. The age old question of just how far do you go..

I'm surprised they didn't put a small heated towel rail in the toilet. Nice job .
Pushed for room as it is…. Tbh, the rad in the room heats it all perfect👌🏼👍🏼

It’s cuz I’m double hard. 💪🏻💪🏻🤣
Hey mark. Will the hot and cold pipes running across the ceiling get in the way of the new plaster board? Perhaps there’s another type of ceiling going in?
Enjoy the channel been watching since
Hey mate, I didn’t say in the video but the ceiling is being dropped so it will cover the pipes, a few people mentioned that and I should of said 👍🏼👍🏼
Hey mark love the video as usual! Just a quick question. What software do you use for quoting and invoicing?
Invoicing I just send an invoice via email, as for quoting again breakdown and email…
I’m not one for these software type things tbh…
are you supposed to drill through roof trusses
You can do yes…….

Have a great week.
Hi Mark. Just a straightforward question..do you trust push fit fittings on poly pipe?
If he didnt trust them he wouldnt use them
Yes mate, as long as they have an inset and are pushed together properly 👍🏼👍🏼
@iancampbell582 just asking a simple straightforward question, what's wrong with that?
@@MJTiffPlumbing thanks Mark..love your channel bye the way 👍
