Pet babies make a home complete in my opinion (that is for people that can take care of them) so sweet of you to have the little door and seating for them lol. Just wondering are you afraid of the birds flying out or being on such a high floor for your doggie being alone on the balcony?

    Awesome condo! Super cool to see how other people decorate some of the limited spaces you get in this city. We just found a 2 bed 2 bath condo in central DT Toronto and I will certainly use this for inspiration on interior decoration!
    Quick question though, since you put carpet on the balcony - does it ever get too windy for you, as in do things ever blow off the balcony? I've seen that happen to some surprisingly large/heavy pillows in my area so I'm nervous to put too many light objects on the balcony in the new place. I really like what you've done out there though.

    • @francesmenu
      @francesmenu  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much! Small space storage is one of my favourite things to browse and it's much needed in many Toronto condos.
      I put down the heavy patio furniture on top of the rugs and it keeps them down, but they do bunch up sometimes. The pillows don't go anywhere. I think it really depends on your balcony, some places that are more windy, the whole rug would fly off, but luckily my balcony is not too windy.
      Some buildings also have rules as to what can and cannot be placed on the balcony, so please keep an eye out for that or they might give you a notice!
      By the way, congrats on finding the space downtown! Enjoy it!

    Hi Frances,
    You did an excellent job putting together this audition tape for The Bachelor! Thanks for letting us into your world. ☺ In all honesty, the things you did with your condo is very creative. I'm sure it took a lot of effort and time to put it all together. How does one person decide which shower to use each night? I just moved into a 1 bed+ den, 1 bath myself and I don't really have much of a choice. The view is very nice and high. What floor are you on? Anyways, it must be quiet and peaceful living all alone. I am also on a high floor, west facing and I hear nothing but the sound of cars in the distances similar to your building. We have a lot in common already. Can't wait for your next video to follow!

      @ohaggie ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it is expensive 😮 but I’m sure there are differences between both of your apartments (high rise building most likely with a doorman and a gym, laundry in unit, etc). Plus, she has 2 bathrooms and almost 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom plus a Den that she uses as an office). Do you have a balcony and a view of downtown Toronto?

    • @ctgctg1

    • @rachaelg4861
      @rachaelg4861 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@ohaggie yeah my apartment is a pretty new condo but rent controlled, I use my den as an office since I work from home. I have a nice balcony(10th floor), with concierge and all the usual amenities that a condo brings. My apartment faces south so I have a nice view facing south of Yonge (downtown). I’m also steps from the subway which is a bonus. I actually recently looked at listings recently by my area and prices are also around the same price as the video mentions. ($2400-2600) I moved into my condo apartment in 2021 when prices went super low and you were able to negotiate prices with landlords though.
