    That tool (wrench!! i think) and leg ...edge flow impressed me... You should do some hard surface robotic/sci-fi models...

    In collapse component tricks you have shown, that tricks can be done also by poke face. You don't need to extrude the edge. Just select the outer edges and do poke face. By that that whole edges will collapse. By the way, thanks for your cool tricks and techniques. I have learned so much from you.

    The transform component tool works like the move along normal but you can move is the 2 others axis, and to relax vertices, their is the average vertices and for the edges, their is a tool called edit edge flow ^^

    The multi-cut tool can move in intervals if you hold shift when moving the second point, also I learned new things from this so thanks.

      Yup multi cut tool is the swiss army knife in maya. Glad you liked the video.

    With the second example you could simply apply the merge operation on the entire model and all overlapping vertices would merge together

    • @jlmussi
      @jlmussi  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair enough, and sometimes I do that BUT if your verts are too close together you might get over-pinching. I've had that happen before and its not fun to clean up.

    instead of selecting each edge individually you can select one edge and then go to select >select contiguous edges

    How many times have you selected one thing not knowing you have actually selected that item and 3 more on the other side of the model? SOOOOO many times!! (facepalm) I am glad I am not the only one - keep the tutorials coming - I am learning a lot from your workflow!!
