Nothings more than the old schools thinking you might not make it home. The videos are always good. Keep up the good works. Nothing better than having your whole family with ya on a car show trip. They will never forget the 😢break down in there minds. Thanks for letting us roll with ya again
Great coverage of the show! Sorry about the break down. That's the worst after a great day at the show especially with the kids and wife. I'm sure you'll get it fixed up quickly👍🏾
@@yeahbuddygarage My dad used to own a burgundy 96 oldsmobile Bravada when I was younger. They had a 4.3 with an all time AWD system like the Astro vans instead of a 4wd system. Thing was tough as hell, my younger brother ended up with it and couldn't kill it, and that says a lot lol.
@@mathieuduguay825 too funny man! Those AWD astros are pretty badass. Did you see Stay Tuned pulled and AWD setup from an Astro and put it in an S10? He basically built his own cyclone. 😎
Yeah buddy, digging the mix of everything, green stepside was amazing but obs is my favorite because that's what I have so. Sorry for the break down with the family 🙏
Thanks man! That green step side was killer. I think my favorite OBS was Mandy’s teal one with the pin stripe work and old school billets. That truck was so clean
catching up on videos . loving the footage man , thanks for sharing all the show footage . and who would have guessed it was the ignition coil . also ..I know the pain of having to play musical cars . I store my 63 at my parents for now bc its a bigger garage and with their BBQ trailer and cars it's ridiculous LOL But they are having a house built so it'll be a better situation soon . also I'd love a shirt man , what's wrong with the print ? looked good to me !
Nice man! Hopefully one day I'll have a shop big enough for all this junk around here. lol The print is spotty and not consistent. I'll do a run with black ink and see if that helps. Hoping to have them up for sale soon!
I had the same problem with my 1993 CK3500 dually. Turned out to be the distributor. I found that my truck ran best with stock Distributor and coil. I was running the MSD Distributor, Ignition and coil. Took all that off and went back to stock. Running now for 3 years with no problems
man I might have to look into this. I have the MSD setup and just confirmed I have fuel and spark but the engine will not fire. I'll dig deeper into it tomorrow.
@@yeahbuddygarage also what it would do is that of you let it sit overnight it would start and run fine when I went to work at 400am. On the way how from work in traffic it would just shut off just like yours did. I think it would run good when cool weather
What a bummer lol. Stuff happens though. You had a great little get a way with the family. Got to look at a lot of sick OBS. I can’t believe your wife is holding the camera at the end of the video though lol. Just kidding. Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.
Was it for sure the fuel pump? That is about the only thing you can't replace on the side of the road. That is a fear of mine too, because I feel like none of them are built to what came on the trucks from the factory. Wonder if you could somehow change it out for an accessible inline pump?
That’s what I’m thinking. I’d like to eventually do fuel injection and I’d have to upgrade the fuel pump but do an in-line pump like I have on my blazer. It just seems like a better idea if you’re doing a bunch of road trips.

Thank you sir! And yes that experience wasn’t the best but it could have been a whole lot worse!

Nice man! I was wondering about that. lol

Those GM fuel pumps are known for being weak, have two S10s with the same issues give it an upgrade if you can… awesome video
My 91 big block had same issue ,turned out it was a bad fuel pump relay.

She wasn’t too upset once we had a plan just bummed we were stranded for a bit. At least it was nice out and not storming!
@@yeahbuddygarage that’s all that matters and you had a good time lol!
Wish I could get my dually back on the road wish Ik how to get free parts from sponsors and go fund me or only fans money to get it done

Great video bad luck but that’s old truck ownership. 😂
Sure is!! 🤣🤣 I do my best to prep these trucks for road trips but anything can happen.
