I wonder if it is possible to connect the studio5000 view project with the plc emulator? I failed to do do? I would be most grateful if you could help me do so. Note: it sounds only possible with real plc via ethernet to emulate the hmi but as I don’t have real plc I wanted to use tbe emulator , as a result,
You might be viewing this wrong, emulator doesn't require any communications modules. Just that the processor type is an emulator processor. The video above shows the exact steps on how to use Studio 5000 Logix Emulate. Thanks for your reply I am referring to Studio5000 View, which is a part of Studio5000 software. I am wondering if it is possible to run the hmi emulator with plc emulator? Same as in Tia portal?

I have watched many video, including yours, connecting the FT veiw to the emulator via RsLinx an d Enterprise But when it comes using the Studio veiw, which built in Studio5000, it looks different Hope my question is clearer now
Could be the version you are using, a few Emulator versions have bugs. Also, it could be that the install so you could try to re-install the software being admin. So the registry gets edited properly

The versions need to line up, meaning, if RSlogix 5000 version 20 then use an emulator processor of version 20. It's just look like using real-world devices.
hi Shane im learning from your conent a lot, just a little question... do you think i need a bachelors to get into automation or just a 2 year technical degree or not degree at all with your courses would do it? thanks!
I would say that you should always practice from what you watch & learn from, make every day count. Each day is a learning opportunity. Thank you for the kind words. As far as automation, learn & practice then show your employer what you know.

when I press create module it gives me error "cannot obtain list of available mofule types" . Would be glad if someone could help me

hi, i am using studio V30.01but my motion group is showing not synchronised . what to do?
Turn in time synchronous under the processor properties date & time.
And please watch my motion videos, they plainly show how easy this is.
