My nice and tight is often way too nice and tight. I work with my father. He is 72 now and doesn't have the strength he used to plus he had a hand injury. At least once a week he's yelling at me because he can't get something off haha. I just thought I'd share that.

Wouldn’t step 1 be to make sure the upper is level on the vise first?

Need to level that upper first. Leveling the scope above whatever pitch upper is worthless, obviously.
