Recently on my Instagram account, I've received a message from a person, who wanted a suggestion on her idea of dropping college and start a career in the Indian animation industry. I'm not a career counsellor or an animation teacher, but I've been learning about the 3d animation industry for the last 5 years and after spending a lot of time among the students and artists of 3d animation. I thought this is a very genuine suggestion she's asking for and I decided to make this video with my personal experiences and opinions on the current Indian animation industry. If you're an Indian student who wants to make a career in the animation industry and wants to make something like Japanese anime then in this video you can get a new perspective on the Indian animation industry. In this video, I talk about things like, why Indian animation is bad, why the current Indian animation industry is not growing, what sort of things a person should consider before quitting their current opportunities to start an animation career. I tried to share my personal opinions in this video, Hence THIS IS NOT A CAREER ADVICE VIDEO.

How do I start learning digital art? I know nothing about it.
About 11 months ago my goal was to become an animator but Now I have changed my goal/ambition. It means I wasn't serious about it.
So anyone who is still want to become an animator and fully sure that he will continue it and will not change his goal after getting a new interest, only then you choose it as career.
It's not only about the thing you want to do or you love to do it's about your whole life career so be sure to serious about it ( ╹▽╹ ).

Im a high school student and I was writing a story , while i was writing I was thinking in which way I can show my story to the audience , I know I can't animate it coz I don't have pc , even if I have pc it will take me 15 - 20 years to create an anime alone .
They I decided , I will present my story to the audience in manga , its easy for me to draw with pencil on paper , rather than animating it on my phone with fingers .
I've completed writing chapter one and started the production/drawing .

I can't revel much now , but ya somethings I can tell , in past when humanity was in its growing stage , many demons appeared out of know here , great leaders and people who have money in their pockets leaved the earth in the star ship , but where left behind to die .
Rest of the humans make small towns in jungles , and other island to stay protected from demons , but as years passed demons are also evolving .
Now the protagonist have to start it's journey , and he have many surprises waiting for him

I am a 9th standard student and started learning about animation from the previous year only, and what you said that this video sounds like demotivating, but seriously speaking I didn't find anything demotivating here.
Well it is not demotivating it is just practical reality of the other side of the coin (i.e attraction not passion) what he is talking about and some people misunderstood this

I am a 10th standard student and i want to be a light novel/manga writer and youtuber and i think i do have the ability to write and illustrate them but the only way i can convince my parents to let me pursue a creative career is by giving them a somewhat convincable animation career choice. I saw your video about the 9th class kid who had made a story and wants to animate it and i can relate to it a lot. Ive always wanted to tell my own stories to people and i want to convert that passion into a career but im not particularly that into animation. Ive always considered the option of going to japan/usa because I personally think animation isnt that rewarding here in india. I wish you could guide me and i think a good amount of people like me by replying/making a video on this subject.

She CAN learn animation while going to college she can use her neet knowledge in the story she is going work on learn only one software
If she has a Gd story she should work on how to deliver it, read story books on the topics she choose to write.
She can read history of Disney works and Japanese if she want to shape up the animation field and learn new techniques

Animation is not easy. Me khud usi field me ja raha lekin abhi tk jitni research ki hai uske hisab se it tough to get into this industry. Have backups and try animation in you free time first totally on your own.
Just yesterday I had a talk with a woman on Discord, she is 30 and does his job and she recently started to learn 3d so it's not too late even you think it's late but just have a backup.

Mai bhi school khatam krne k baad animation m hi jana chahti thi but practically sochne k baad mai abhpadegi agriculture ki student hu and trying ki mai pehle ek stable job kru taki mujhe kisi pr bhi apni dreams k liye depend na hona pade or fir animation sikhu.... But mujhe ek baat jan na h ki ye jo change ki baat ho rahi h ye change aa tu ayega kkaise i mean all know there was time when anime was famous even among the children jab anime hungama tv pe deta tha but anime jaise achhe quality ki animated series bhi indian conservative k vajah se ban ho gaye... Toh change ayega kaise kyu ki akhir m toh hame usi social crowd ko convince krna padega

Let me tell you all my story,
I am also a neet aspirant and also an animation fan ( especially anime) . I don't wanna choose between medical and animation , because I love both. So , I made a plan. I decided that for now I will work hard to get selected into medical college and watch animation for my love for that as well as inspiration. Once I will get into the college, I would enhence my drawing skills and learn animation ( I have to start from the start, I don't know anything about animation) in 4 years and also gather some talented people around me from various fields ( so that they can help me with dubbing, making soundtrack, writing scripts, making animation , etc) . And then in the end me and my team would present an awesome animation to everyone. I also have a story in my mind. And it is of ' slice of life ' genre. Since I know that you also like animation and now you know my story, I hope you would be there when we would present our anime in future.
I was also thinking about taking animation as career but after thinking for some time I don't want to do it as you said that ki aise mindset ki animation industry me change Lana bada animation artist ban na or ye sabh dimag me rakh kr ja rhe ho to galat Femi hai ye

Kya crowd funding Talented indian animators & Artists ko help kar sakti hai. I mean ki Animation show yaa movie banane ke liye Resources & Time chahiye hota hai.
Toh agar sach me koi Talented Artists/Animators ka koi group hai aur woh apne kam ko leke dedecated hai aur karna chata hai but cuz of limited resources woh nhi kar paa raha toh aise mein kya crowd funding Aise Groups ki help nhi kar sakti.
Agar minimum 50k log 2-3 rupees bhi donate karte hai toh 100k- 150k aaram se ho jaayege.
And final product banne par usse public platform like youtube par release kar sakte hai yaa agar kisi Streaming platform ko product pasand aaya toh use bhi sell kar sakte hai.

I mean after becoming animator you still need topics for your animation projects ,where will they come from ???ofcourse from the knowledge you acquired through your preparation days and daily life.

I thought to be start animation works in youtube but your explanation changed my mind . I will focus on my ssc then after TH-cam channel by kinemaster . I like the example that take a short step then became animator . It relates me to triggered insaan . How he small step like that . I really focus on my ssc and your videos are really inspiring .
