There is so much conflicting advice from clinics on the immediate aftercare following a HT. Some say you should wait 5 days before gently washing the hair but in the meantime only use a saline spray every hour. Now you say it should be washed 24 hours post surgery.?

Right? My doctor said do a “midwash” 5 days in. Soak head in this special lotion for 20min then wash with lukewarm water without trying to remove scabs. Then again a proper wash at 10 days with the lotion on for 1 hour and then wash but also remove the scabs.

I had mine yesterday and I was told after 5 days I can wash, but the FAQ sheet they gave me says wash it this morning 😂

What about with an unshaven FUE transplant? Where I keep my hair (except the shaved donor area). Can rest of loner hair on head be washed and towel dried? Or even hairdryer?

Hi I took topical finasteride .1% for a week and got side effects. It's been four days since stopping and the side effects have not gone, am I gonna get better?

Try 0.01% or 0.025%, the amount of ml you use makes a difference too, keep that to a minimum. Don't worry just a few weeks and you should feel normal.

What if I return to the clinic to get my hairwash the next day and I can see that several grafts fell out? Are they lost?

I’ve been washing it every day
It’s day 7 today and I washed it with cold water 🚿 felt it was probably too cold at some point and stopped, but so worried now….
As Google says too hot or cold water can damage transplanted follicles 😮😮😢😢😢

I don’t have noticiable hair loss, but I’ve heard my medication can induce shedding and I’m male and I’m worried that if it happens it may not grow back. so would you recommend a topical minoxidil and finasteride spray? I do worry about the side effects of oral finasteride/dutasteride.
